Karen's Pilgrim was a very interesting book. I read it along time ago. I think it does good lessons about Thanksgiving. ;D

I remember reading this book and thought the book did give good lessons on Thanksgiving. I think this is the one where Karen and her little house family visits Plymouth Rock. Nice book.

I found this book while visiting Plymouth Rock with my family! It was in one of their gift shops and I was so thrilled to find it since by then LS was nowhere to be found. I loved reading this for that reason .

Lucky you! Back then you could never find ls books unless you went to a book store or a grocery store.

I really liked this book. I liked how Remember and her mother, Fear, came to Karen’s school and went to her class to talk about their lives when they first came to America. The role-playing sounded like it was a lot of fun.

I re read this book recently and liked it a lot more. I thought Karen's report was really fun. I also thought the trip they took sounded like a lot of fun, sounds like something I would like to do.

This book felt a little like a LS Super Special because there was much to the story. I loved that Karen and her family visited Plimoth Plantation just before Thanksgiving, somehow that made the book better than if they had gone say in the middle of summer. I would have enjoyed learning more about Remember and her Mom. Like how they came to be role players and what their regular life was like. I think that would have been cool to find out. I have often said I would have loved portraits for the BSC charges and we have talked about books for other Stoneybrook characters but maybe some of the people the BSC meet (like Remember) also could have had a book. I loved Seth's speech at the end about how thankful he was to be celebrating with his family and it was awesome how he made Lisa, Andrew, Karen, and himself wooden bowls like the ones Remember and her family used. Seth is a great person in general but I love how he often takes the time to make holidays a little more special.

I loved this book so much growing up! It was like the one I would always have on me. I think my favorite part had to be how Karen invited them to the class. Roleplaying always sounded like so much fun!

Same thoughts from last year and I hope some of you read this, this year, too. I had read the Boxcar Children (BCC, for short), Pilgrim Village Mystery on Monday, awesome book about how the BCC got to live and work in a Pilgrim Village for a week. I smiled when I had the thought of what a dibble BSC super special such a story could have made. I wasn't sure lol Kristy would have the patience for doing thing in an older fashioned, slower sometimes way, but I believe she would enjoy the experience and of spending more time with her friends in a quieter way. MA would love going back in time. Claud could have helped design posters for a picnic and teach the imposter potter (she had taken the job to spy in search of a hidden map to sell for money) how to make a pot and about clay. Stacey could have helped with the print shop, reminded me of Claudia and the Perfect Boy. A great story and would recommend highly. The BCC book relates to Karen's Pilgrim because it may have taken place at Plimoth Plantation also or a very similar type of location. I love how Karen got to meet Remember and lol Andrew and the "cheater's bread." What is cheate bread? It was a cool consistency that Andrew was fascinated by boats in this story, too. This story will always be special to me because it was the first LS book given to me as a special gift and it definitely helped get me into the series. Oh and loved how Remember and her mom came to Stoneybrook Academy and would have enjoyed reading about them visiting one other class besides Ms. Colman's. I think this may have been one of the only times when someone from a vacation came to Stoneybrook, too

Cheate bread is made from wheat that hasn't been sifted, which is whole wheat flour. I got the information here.

^Thanks, Anzuhana. Someone should have made it for the historical picnic in MA and the Secret in the Attic.
