^ I was just thinking the same thing. Shannon was much more interesting than Logan.

I thought that Shannon was more interesting as well. She should've gotten at least one more book.

I think that people all over requested more Logan books than Shannon books. GEE, I wonder why...

I wonder why, too. I didn't think his books were that interesting.

I wasn't a big fan of Logan books either. Not sure if it's because I couldn't relate to his guy issues or what.

Logan's books were pretty much rehashings of his daily life that we already knew about anyway. I didn't think the plots added to his character. The T-Jam story came and left so quickly that that didn't mean much either. Shannon, definitely had more potential. I have always wished she had become the alternate officer.

^Agree.
Maybe Logan had more because they could throw in stuff about his and MA's relationship.

These are my assumptions about why Shannon only got 1 book and Logan got 2:
a) Lack of interest, maybe there wasn't enough call for it as the series was progressing and reading a lot of its fan base. Making another book would cause more planning, they'd have to hire a ghostwriter -- all that jazz -- and they didn't care to do that for a "Reader's Request" book. Maybe the readers weren't really requesting more Shannon?
b) Logan is a boy, so maybe Scholastic thought a book about a boy, told from a boy's perspective, would be interesting for the girls (and maybe cause a few more boys to read the series?) And maybe they thought Logan was some hearth-throb that a lot of girls swooned over.

Excuse the re-post but I wanted to say - Happy Birthday, Shannon! Pisces born on March 17 are said to be talented with a sensitive nature.

I love Shannon's Story! That book is my second favourite of the series after Mary Anne Saves The Day. I would really love another Shannon book. It would be awesome if they made Shannon's Book in the Portrait Collection series.

They could have really gone out with the Portrait Collection series and had one on Shannon, Logan, Cokie...

Shannon fascinates me. She's a nerd, and she seems stupendously busy, and she's rich! Those could've made for good plot points.
ETA: And her birthday's two days after mine!

What books had a chapter in Shannon's pov? I mean just by deducing how well she babysat would see what she would be in the entire series.

I think she had one in Baby-sitters Beware and, of course, Shannon's Story.
