come to think of it...if Ann M. Martin never created Kristy's Great Idea, where would the BSC have come from? We all talk about how great it is...but have you ever stopped to think about how th BSC came into action? ~~Kristy Jenny~~

the so-called "long and famous chapter 2" sometimes drives me crazy, i almost always skip it when readin the BSC books....i mean i read it over and over and over again...sometimes it gets annoying...but i get used to it...still, i'm grateful for Ann M. Martin...i wrote her a letter 1 week ago and i'm sure she will answer it..

This was such a cool book . And did anyone notice that this was the only book where they had recess? The books after this don't mention it.

Kristy and Mary Anne would play tetherball at recess, right? I loved tetherball when I was a kid. Now it reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite

We didn't have recess or free periods in my high school. (Well, the one I went to for most of high school) Just 8 classes and 4 minute breaks and a lot of running around between buildings.

We had free periods as well. They were great in boarding school because you could take a nap or whatever.

^Sounds awesome! My school was like Penny Lane's...lots of running around, I think my school was on 82 acres! And I think we had 6 minute breaks between classes. In middle school, we had all our classes close together but no recess...I wish we did though!

The recess in KGI was weird to me. They're in middle school, not elementary school. I have never heard of anyone in MS/JH having "recess" My least fave part of this book is definitely the 4 sitting chapters in a row.
