How do you think the sitters would have turned out if they had aged normally and were now in their 30's?

I kind of pictured Stacey, Kristy, and Mary Anne as soccer moms in Connecticut. I figured Stacey would go through a period of working before she settled down and decided to do the mom thing. Claudia and Dawn I see as "free spirits" Dawn in California, Claudia in New York City/SoHo. Mallory would be single and working on her novel, probably in the City. Jessi, I don't know about. Maybe a mom, or a maybe a dancer.

I could see Stacey being so affected by her parents' divorce that she is determined to never go through one or put her kids in the same position she was.

^^I agree with that, but I can also see her being trapped in a loveless marriage in order to NOT put her kids through that.

I don't know about the other girls, but I read a fanfic once where Mallory was a mother and she wrote popular trashy romance novels- and I love that idea. I could see it happening.

I hope they would still keep in touch. I can see Jessi maybe teaching dance school, Mallory still writing. They would probably all be great parents. I don't know if they would still be best friends though. When I was thirteen I had friends I thought would my my friends forever but we only ever stay in touch through facebook now.

I can definitely see Mal and Jessi keeping in touch no matter what they ended up doing. Maybe it was from being the only 11 year olds in the club, but they seemed to have a bond stronger than some of the other pairs (or groups) of best friends.
I think Kristy would have a lot of kids. A couple biological kids, but I definitely see her being big in adoption/foster care as well. She might even work in that field, working with kids, putting them into good homes and what not. She'd probably stay in Stoneybrook.
Yeah, Claudia would probably go into full-scale rebellion and run away to New York City to live above an art gallery in Chelsea with some gorgeous man who's 10 years older than her and doesn't speak any English. But they don't need words when they have their art to speak for them. Or something.
I can see Stacey getting her degree and then getting a pretty good job, and eventually settling down and starting a family. Maybe living in Stamford. I don't see her setting her life in New York City, but she would probably still go pretty regularly. Expose her children to the culture and take them to Broadway shows and stuff.
Mary Anne would definitely go the marriage and family route, probably staying in Stoneybrook. I could see her working part time, but mostly just being a stay-at-home mom.
I can see Dawn with a family, after college. I don't think she would marry, she'd just start her family without marriage (to the horror of Mary Anne, more so that Dawn didn't want some big wedding versus children without marriage). Definitely in California. I can't see her not being there. She'd be huge in all the green-craze happening these days. She'd have one of those environmentally friendly homes.
What about Abby? No one's really brought her up.

^ As for Abby, I see it as fate being cruel to her: she would die in a car crash just like her father.

I wonder if they would all have a facebook or myspace account. A lot of older people use that stuff now too. They could have a group made just for the Baby-sitters club if they had a facebook, and the kids they baby-sat for probably would have one too.

^ Haha, that's a cute idea! lol, oh, oh, OH! I have to make facebook statuses for them now! Kristy Thomas is conducting a meeting of the Baby-sitters Club; all members must be present at 5:30; latenesses punishable by death. Mary Anne Spier is crying. Claudia Kishi is kreating a massturpeece. Stacey McGill is injecting herself with insulin (ew, ew, ICK!) and then heading out to Washington Mall to get a new perm! Dawn Schafer is eating bean sprouts and saving the earth. Abby Stevenson is getting her cleats ready for the soccer game. Mallory Pike is playing horses with Jessi. Jessica Ramsey is getting ready for a ballet class with Mme. Noelle (Note to self: use zee oncles). Shannon Kilbourne is getting ready for French club, then a meeting of the Baby-sitters Club, then Astronomy Club. Logan Bruno is pining away - hasn't seen his Mary Anne in 2 hours Haha, I am SUCH a loser. EDIT: Dang, I just realized that this thread is for how they are in the future, not in the series. My bad
