Which Kids do you think are the most likely to become the next generation of the BSC?

Well, Becca Ramsey seems to enjoy "helping" to take care of Squirt (plus, that would guarantee another generation of black babysitter angst). And if Becca is in, Charlotte Johannsen probably goes along, too--and I think in one book, it mentions that Jamie Newton really likes her, so I can see both of them growing up into being the kind of teens who are good with younger kids. Myriah Perkins and Margo Pike seem to be very patient and get along well with their younger sisters, too.
And I doubt we could avoid Karen. After all, she's just like Kristy--she'll be the one running all the carnivals and things.

Yeah Karen would probably be the president. But I think Vanessa would be a good choice too.

I would like to see Becca, Charlotte, Vanessa, Haley and the Arnold twins as the new BSC.

^I like that. They're all pretty tolerable and calm. I def think Karen would try to start a BSC club (which I suppose would then automatically include Hannie and Nancy) and I think people like Claire, Margo, and Suzi would want to join. This BSC would be insane and loud and annoying. Parents would call the alterna-BSC that you described above

Ooh, and the original BSC members could take sides on which was better and try to help them achieve domination! And have glorious in-fights among themselves!
I'm almost tempted, but I'm so behind on my real writing. . .

Lets see, Jessi would be on one side with her sister, while Kristy is on the other side. But what side would Mallory be on? *imanges the catfights.* Come on please do it, I'll do it, but I am not much a writer.

Ooh Mallory would be torn between her sisters. Juicy. I think she'd end up siding with Vanessa. Mal is calm and not all hyper like Claire (and sometimes Margo) and I think she'd recognize the more mature club had the potential to be BSClike.

I bet that in the end it would be like the Slate Street Blue Ribbon Club thing where the old school bsc comes back to town and manages to unite the two bscs.

Could you imange the BSC with 12 girls? I think I'll age them all about 6 years so that Suzy and Claire would be the all-mature 11 year olds.

It'd probably be a rotating membership, assuming they actually, ya know, get older. So Vanessa would be over it by the time Claire was old enough. Cause in BSCland, 14 year olds have better things to do than be in a baby-sitting club.

Actually that makes alot of sense, but I would still like to see the BSC fighting over the two clubs.

Maybe that could be the happy ending. At first they fight then they join together with a rotating membership.
