They may have been the nicest, but babies are never easy. I'm going with Charlotte.

Jamie could be moody a lot, he seemed like he might be a handful. Lucy sounded like a very pretty baby, but I don't have much experience with actually caring for babies. I would just want to dress her up in cute clothes.

Lol. Can you imagine Jamie throwing a tantrum about going to bed, and Lucy screaming at the same time? No thanks. I'll take reading to Charlotte anytime.

Easiest is definitely Charlotte, followed by the Perkinses.

I'll have to think about this more... I disagree that Charlotte is the easiest because she can get really melodramatic with things that worry her. Remember how distraught (and annoying) she was in Stacey's Emergency? There were quite a few instances like that one, but I can't remember specifics right now. Also, the Perkins girls by themselves were easy clients, but bring Chewy into the picture and chaos ensues!

DM could be pretty easy by himself, before Watson and Elizabeth were married. I know MA enjoyed babysitting for him (the mention in #2 about bowling cups down the stairs always sounded fun although I never figured out quite how it was done.)

Of course, I forgot that I don't know sign language. I think this is the sum total of what I could say to Matt, unless I finger-spelled everything: hello my name is I love you mother father girl boy deer help on off go to hell Oh geesh...I looked at this without really reading it and started reading it as a poem. LOL! It was so funny to read like that. Then of course, I had to go back to clarify.

I'm going to go with Charlotte. There was only one child to baby-sit for and she usually wasn't difficult to sit for.

The Perkinses, Myriah in particular, because they're not very active or too demanding. Jenny wouldn't be too bad either.
The problem is that every kid had to have some issue or other.
ETA: Oh, and actually the Arnolds wouldn't've been too bad after #23. I always liked Marilyn's time machine in... a later MA book, can't remember which one.
