Hey, I just noticed that they these crazy ohdner girls live closer to Stacey then to Kristy.. or was it the other way around? It's in #41 or 46, and NOT in the complete guide. Cre-razy, no?

I wonder how many books they appeared in and if they had any sitting chapters because I can't remember anything about them.

I doubt it. They didn't get their own chapter in the Complete Guide like most of the client families did, just a "rarely mentioned" in the chapter of "other Stoneybrook residents".

I don't remember The Ohdners. Where they mention, in the latter books?

Buttercup, they were mentioned in the early books. I don't which though. Maybe they had a mention in a later book or two but if they did, it was little.

I always thought that they talked about them to show how "busy" the BSC can be. Because, let's face it, you know how they talk about being SWAMPED in so many books. Realistically speaking, their "regular" clients wouldn't keep a group of 7 girls totally booked. So there are some "extra" clients on the side to make it seem like their client base is much bigger.

I believe they're mentioned in the mid-to-later books, and not as mentioned in the books that are written by Ann herself

I don't blame you. I don't remember the specific books they were mentioned in.

I'm also going to vote inside joke. It's just so random that we hear "about" them but they NEVER APPEAR.

I know, right?! WHO IN THE WORLD ARE THE OHDNERS? ? For some odd reason, I always imagined that Mr. Ohdner is a single father (they never mention Mrs. Ohdner) with five kids (three boys and two girls) with names that all starts with the letter 'O'. Also, they have a basset hound named Oder. Don't ask me why I imagined that way. I have a very strange mind sometimes...

I've also contemplated the single father angle, which would be refreshing.

It drives me absolutely insane that they're only mentioned extremely briefly. WHO are they exactly? How come there's never been more detail into them like the other clients? I've imagined Mr. Ohdner is a single father, whose wife died, and has three daughters around the ages of the Perkins girls. IDK why. I've read somewhere online that they had the measles or something. That's it?? Um, more information please.

The Ohdners are just the equivalent of Vera on Cheers or Maris on Frasier. I wonder if it’s a nod to someone who worked at Scholastic or something.
