What charge parents do you enjoy reading about? I always get a good laugh out of Mrs. P. A lot of the moms seem nice but I don't really get a feel for their personality. I did like Mrs. Braddock in Secret Language, though, and Charlotte's mom in Truth About Stacey. I also like reading about Mrs. Barrett since she seems pretty "real", which is more interesting than a lot of the other ones.

Mrs. P definitely! She was ALWAYS my favorite and I'd be thrilled to see her show up in the baby-sitting chapters!
Also, Mrs. Barrett seemed very normal to me. All of the other mothers seemed perfect and unreal almost....but Mrs. Barrett was typically like a lot of parents that i knew growing up. she's really not as bad as people make her out to be.

^ I love that moment, too. ;D Agree about Mrs. Barrett not being as bad as people make her out to be. I think a lot of that comes from Dawn's opinion of her. I also like Mr. P. It was so nice when he gave his wife the baby shower. I love Seth and Lisa Engle in the LS books, too.

oh I def hated Mrs Barrett. I thought she was ridiculous. She's at the top of my least favorite list. As for favorites, I'm honestly not sure, I've never given it much thought. I always thought Mrs Newton sounded very nice and like a good mom because Jamie turned out so sweet

I always liked Mrs. Newton, she seemed like a normal good mom to Lucy and Jamie. I think Mrs. Barret seemed like a realistic mom, she may have had her moments but I think she tried to be a good mom.

I definitely liked the Newtons as well. It's hard for me to believe that I could easily be the same age as Mrs. Newton at this point!

^ Don't make me feel old, too ;D I think the Newtons were probably great parents. The Perkins, too, but I didn't enjoy reading about them as much as some of the others because I didn't think they were very developed as characters. I did like reading about Mrs. Arnold's accessories in Trouble With Twins and the way she decorated her house at Christmastime but don't think she was necessarily the "best" mom. Mrs. P, either, but I liked the character development more than for parents like the Newtons. They were developed a little in MA Saves the Day and some of the early books but it usually just seemed like it said "Mrs. Newton is so organized" or something like that. I don't even have an idea of how she dressed, looked, etc. I think that's why I enjoyed reading about Mrs. Barrett and Mrs. P most. I felt like I "knew" them more, good or bad ;D

I like Mrs. Newton, but other than that I can't really think of any favorites. I don't really hate or love any of the charges' parents, I guess!

Dr Johansen was cool, I liked her a lot. She was always so sweet to Stacey and really looked out for her in the Truth about Stacey

I enjoy pretty much everyone you guys have said: Dr. Johanssen, Mrs. Perkins, Mr. and Mrs. Newton. I especially like Mr. & Mrs. P! She's so over the top most of thet ime, and I get a kick out of her - especially when she's all dolled up in an evening gown, and her husband is wearing jeans and a baseball cap. Gotta love her! I also liked reading about Mrs. Felder, Susan's mom. I don't particularly like the fact that she hired Kristy because she needed to get away from Susan, but I really like how it makes her human. It must be hard to raise a child with autism, and it was almost refreshing to see an non-perfect parent. The fact that she simply needed a break from her daughter made her interesting and different to me.

Well,I like Mr.Pike and Mrs. Pike. I like Mrs. Pike a lot, because she's very organized and responsible. If not,how did she raise her eight children properly?

I have always like Mr. and Mrs. Pike's way of handling their children, but I especially loved Mrs. Newton! I think I would have liked Mrs. Perkins a lot too if we had learned more about her. Jamie, Gabbie, and Myriah were always favorite children of mine.
