I felt really bad for Pete in Ex Best Friend. He was dorky but that didn't give Laine the right to be so rude to him. Why did she go with him when he obviously wasn't "cool" enough for her? I thought it was nice that Stacey apologized to him. He did seem out of character in that book but I'm still not sure what Pete's character is supposed to be since he changes frequently. ;D

Probably not. None of the girls went to dances with Pete because they loved him, but more as a close friend and as they like to put it 'sort-of-boyfriend.' Besides the same thing happened with my friends TWICE last year. 3 girls went out with one guy at different times and the same thing happened again except with just 2 girls and 1 guy. I couldn't believe there was no awkwardness! Personally if it were me I'd find it kinda weird but it does happen!
Oh btw Pete snapped Miranda Shillaber's bra strap, not Emily's or Dori's (as far as I know... hmm maybe he was simply a serial bra snapper when he was in 7th grade ;D).
I like his personality in Mary Anne Misses Logan the most!

^ Agree about liking him best in that one. I can kind of see him and MA making a good couple based on that book. I noticed the bra snapper thing too. ;D

Was Pete Black Logan's best friend? He seemed to be the one he hung around with the most.

^ It was strange because sometimes he was made out as Logan's best friend and other times they seemed to barely know each other. Pete's use in the series was very inconsistent.

Is Pete Black the guy who goes to the movies with Robert when Stacey and Claudia are spying on him in Stacey's Broken Heart? And he has some weird haircut that makes him easier to track through the mall?

Yup. They say something about his hair coming to or past his collar...

^ I remember that too but try to overlook it. ;D I don't like guys with longish hair and prefer thinking of Pete as having short hair.

^ Same here. There are a few exceptions here and there, but I generally prefer short hair on guys. Pete included!
And blossom, I always thought Pete was cute in the Baby-Sitters and the Boy-Sitters!! Much cuter than Alan Gray.

In which books did it seem like Pete and Logan hardly knew each other? In pretty much every book I've read, they seemed like best friends. Or maybe I forgot something.

I always thought they were pretty good friends. Pete seemed to be the type of guy that was really the best friend for every guy character in the series when they needed them to have one.

I felt bad for hm in Stacey's Ex Best Friend. Laine was pretty rude to him. I did like him in Mary Anne Misses Logan. Maybe if his personality remained like that in Mary Anne Misses Logan instead being inconsisent, he and Mary Anne could've dated.

there's definitely a right way and a wrong way for boys to wear their hair long. as long as he washes it regularly, doesn't wear it as a ponytail, and doesn't do some lame scene style, long hair is okay by me. pete seems like a pretty chill guy, someone who wouldn't do anything too bizarre with his hair, so i'm guessing it didn't look bad at all.
