This sounds like good book to read. I remember flying kites, when I was younger. During spring time, when it was windy outside. I think, we got the plastic cheap kind, as well.

For me, I spent the whole book wishing Natalie would speak up and say whatever Karen was being told off for was her idea. I mean, seriously. I know the girl has some issues and isn't very cool, but I thought she was supposed to be sweet. Half the time, it's as if the book wants us to hate her (and I am mad at the book as I don't think Natalie is as bad as it makes out).

I agree with you..her letting Karen take the blame was NOT cool..Karen's anger was definitely justified. I have to say though, she definitely should have revealed the truth to Lisa and Seth..one would think that if she was so mad at Natalie, she would have been smiling at seeing her get in trouble. And also, anyone notice that here Natalie hates rats but she has one in Karen's Mystery? Also with the class getting on Karen's case for being mad at Natalie is ironic, considering Pamela is the queen of mean 95% of the time. The idea of a school sleepover sounded pretty fun to me when I first read this.
