Oh, I remember that. I always liked that scene and that whole book. Thanks! We can do a pizza toast at the party, too. Maybe when Sotypical hits 1000 (she's getting close I noticed), we can all go to Rosie's and join her for some Pineapple pizza That way, she won't be bored with Rosie (though I don't think things will be too boring if Uncle Dandy stops by). I much prefer Charlotte to Rosie, though. Thanks for answering my question, Wanderingfrog.

Mmm, I want pizza.
I was away from the boards for a few days because I was preparing for an important job interview, and now that I'm back, you're almost ready to change your sig again. Wow.

Welcome back - wondered where you were as I missed your posts. Hope the interview went well. As I said in another post, blame it on my dial-up that I have so many posts the last few days This page was the only one that would pull up quickly while I was trying to do research. I kept posting as I was waiting for things to pull up. And I guess I've been using this board as a form of procrastination

Welcome back - wondered where you were as I missed your posts. Hope the interview went well. It went okay, but it's not like I'm going to get the job. I have no management experience, so I'm not going to get to be the director of a (really tiny) library branch. I just had to make a good impression because I'm sure the same people will be interviewing me again for another job someday. Then today I had an interview for a part time job in a bookstore, but that's no big deal. Am I right in thinking that the reason you currently have 899 posts is because you have to finish making your next sig before your 900th post? ;D

This is proof that I have been doing way too much procrastination! I'm moving from Hobarts to Marshalls. I really didn't realize just how fast things went at Hobarts. Actually, wanderingfrog, I was getting ready to put my new sig on and hit a snag in what I was working on so got bogged down trying to figure out a way around it (hate it when something you need no longer exists!). I just came back on because I thought "I was at 900! I want to get that new sig on!" But of course I'm sure I won't be able to resist putting more posts on (and procrastinating more). This week, I am going to have a self imposed time limit I think - especially since I have to pack and get ready for vacation (something I really dread doing). Already going through withdrawl at the thought of being away for 2 weeks. Glad to hear all went well with the interviews. Think positive and good luck!

I like the new sig... although the Blankie episode traumatized me. Yes, I was twelve when that book was released, but I really love my blanket.

Thanks for the compliment on the sig! This is one of my favorite covers. I can understand how the blankie thing would have been traumatic. But remember that blankie is still there and she can just take him everywhere now I especially like the little blankies because it reminds me of how my Dad's little brother used to carry a piece of "fuzz" everywhere with him. That actually earned him the nickname of "fuzz."

I had two stuffed toys that I took everywhere, even to school. Noone ever bullied me with them, luckily. I like the new sig, too, by the way! I really like the Marshalls.

I still sleep with my baby blanket and my stuffed dinosaur, but I never dragged them around everywhere like Nina or Linus from Peanuts. Don't you love how Blankie didn't exist until #54, but then suddenly Nina'd been dragging him around forever?

I still have my baby blanket and my stuffed animal that I slept with when I was a baby...which was a stuffed skunk I named Skunky, how original.
I also love your new signature aln1982!

Thanks for all of the compliments I never had a blankie or special toy and now I'm starting to wish I had - it might be a comfort now

You have BSC books to comfort you! Although it might be a little strange to cuddle them.
