So...why DID Ann get rid of Dawn? Why did she opt to have Dawn leave?
I liked reading about Dawn! Plus, i thought it was really kinda rude for everyone to act over Dawn's healthy eating habits. I mean, god forbid its not laced with saturated fat, oils, junk...
Though, Dawn could be just as snippy with saying "Cow Carcasses"
But still, was Dawn hated by the general BSC fans?
Also, i just noticed on Mary Anne and the Playground Fight and Abby in Wonderland, that they featured Dawn on the left side bar....on the very top of the side bar! I LOLED at it, because, I never noticed it...in any of the new books were Dawn was in them...she's listed on the side roster!!
Pretty subtle there! XD i'll have to check for Dawn to have a heads up on whether Dawn is in the book or not.
But, really. I feel sad that Ann opted to "kill" Dawn off! :<

i'm just afraid of a major OMG spoiler that'll arise and i'll wreak something for myself that happened in the regular series. :< i'd be so sad if that happened.

another thing i LOVE about Dawn is this: she is different and doesn't let it get her down, she's a really cool person.

CD seems to be geared at older audiences, i can see a slight forshadowing of events in Secret Life Of Mary Anne Spier Dawn acts a bit "mature" and they mentioned all the girls in the CDs. Its very awesome...its a very chilling feeling im getting from these discriptions of the books.

I really like Dawn's handwriting, for some reason, so I think it's cool to see pages and pages of it in her diaries.

California Diaries are great! I've only read three - one of: Dawn's, Amalia's, and Ducky's. How many are there in total? I'm kind of sad that Dawn doesn't mention MA more though, or Stoneybrook. I mean, she is her stepsister and supposedly one of her best friends. I, too, like the books all handwritten! So long as it's readable, I'm good. Ha, so long as we don't have to read a book that Jessi or Claudia handwrote Oh! Just remembered that the first time I saw the books, I said 'Oh, Ann M. Martin wrote these books!' So I bought them. And my mind went completely weird, and didn't think about how Dawn was in California now, so I was reading them and it said something about Stoneybrook and MA at the beginning and I was like 'Hey!! Wait ... this is DAWN! Dawn from the BSC?!' then I got all excited, teehee. I was so surprised, though, because the CD's deal with much deeper stuff than the BSC does.. Nice to see a more indepth side of Dawn... I've always liked Dawn, except for the occasional book where she ticks me off

There's fifteen in total: three from each main character.
I've always liked dawn's handwriting too.
