Honey is better than processed sugar for several reasons. 1.) it digests better, because the sugars are simple sugars 2.) It's better for the environment. We need bees man. 3.) you don't need as much of it
BUT 1.) I'm referring to raw honey 2.) It's not that much better than white.

Honey is delicious! I can see it being really yummy in lemonade or iced tea or whatever. But brown sugar is pretty much no different than white sugar. In fact, if you're baking and don't have any brown sugar, you can make it using molasses and white sugar. Now, if she meant unrefined cane sugar that's brown in color (but not "brown sugar"), that's a little better for you because it's less processed. But a) I'm pretty sure she meant regular brown sugar, and b) I don't think raw cane sugar was really that popular or readily available until fairly recently.

I love honey too! I have been using it in my coffee for years and now anything else is...eh. Like Penny Lane mentioned, it has its benefits. It is a great antioxidant and body cleanser to add on to her list.

I wonder if Dawn would have grown up to like horror movies, or the suspense type (Hitchcock, M. Night Shayamaln, etc.)

^ I just can't see that. I could see Abby maybe getting into that kind of move, but not Dawn.

I don't think Dawn would like slasher/gore movies, but the more suspenseful ones maybe. Like the "I see dead people" movie that I can't think of the name of right now.

The Sixth Sense was one of M. Night's earlier movies.

I think Dawn's more insecure than she lets on. For someone that's an individual, she cares more about what people think about her than Mallory, who's known for her insecurity and having low self-esteem. It seems that in order to make herself feel better, she has to bring other people down. I don't think she's talked to her friends about her insecurity, which makes me wonder if she trusts them. But then again, with the BSC as friends, who needs enemies ?

with the BSC as friends, who needs enemies ? ^That sounds like a tag line for a book where the sitters get into a gnarly fight!

^ Maybe I should write a fanfic in which they get into a fight and that line is in the title or in the summary or mentioned by a character in the fanfic.

I suppose Dawn never baby-sat for Karen much, did she? Because I just realized that Dawn was a two-two too! Lol. She had two families on two sides of the country, two best friends, she was a member of two baby-sitting clubs, and she had two holes pierced in each ear. The real reason why she kept jumping back and forth was so that she could say she moved to Stoneybrook and California both twice. Dawn + Karen = soul mates.

^ Kristy would probably have become even more jealous of Dawn if Dawn developed a good relationship with Karen.

Dawn and Karen exploring the secret passage of the farmhouse would have been a fun read. Totally random thought I had a few nights ago was that the letters of "Schafer" re-arranged=CA FRESH. I wonder if AMM ever thought of that.
