Like Mary Anne I'm quiet and shy around people I don't really know that well,I'm sensitive(I cry when I watch movies except for comedy and action),I don't like being the center of attention,I'm also a good listener,My handwriting looks a LOT( and I mean a LOT) like Mary Anne's,and I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes .
I'm like Claudia because, I LOVE art,I make my own jewelry,We're both asian and I love mysteries
I dress like Mary Anne and Stacey, very simple and conservative with some sophisticated touches.
And I'm like Abby, because I have asthma, and my hair's as dark as hers.

I'm a lot like Dawn with my individualism. But now most of my long time interests have become 'mainstream' like, video games, anime, japanese graphic novels, hot topic-esque clothing. It can be pretty annoying when your clothing sense all of a sudden becomes credited towards 'oh you must have gotten that from some anime' Partly why I feel like hiding the fact that I like anime, I feel like a bit of my respect level goes down from some people, but another voice is telling me that I should stand up and be proud.
I am a very big health food freak and i think its unfair that Dawn's eating is referred to as "ewww"
I am a bit like Claudia with my bad grammar, even though i try very hard at it. its something that I am un-Claudia like, since I think , she doesn't try much with the school stuff.

When I was younger, I couldn't really identify with any of the sitters. I think this was because of the characters seeming so much older than 11/12/13 most of the time, even in appearances.
I have to admit that I was such a Mary Anne when I was younger. I think I failed to recognize this before because of the fact that she had a steady boyfriend at 13 (I had no interest in boys whatsoever), was very romantic, and cried over almost everything. These were the traits that seemed to be focused on the most in the few BSC books I read then, and I couldn’t identify with them or her- especially when I looked at Mary Anne’s picture on the cover sidebars and saw that she looked about 30 and had that short bowl cut that, for some reason, reminded me of the way my aunt Sue looks. I have to say now, though, that we certainly had a lot in common. For one thing, I really was somewhat shy when I was younger. I was also, and still am, sensitive to some degree, especially to criticism and harsh words- just not to the extreme like Mary Anne. We’re also very organized and compassionate to the feelings of others. And then there were the clothes I used to wear- I’m actually embarrassed to see myself at ages 11-14. I looked every bit as babyish as the sitters claimed Mary Anne did, in my own way. There’s one major difference in this regard, however- unlike Mary Anne, I wasn’t being forced to look that way. I simply wanted to dress like a little kid because I wanted to be young forever and never grow up. I didn’t care what anyone thought of my dress style, and I was never really ridiculed for it. I guess this makes me like Dawn was supposed to be, in a way- carefree and not worried about what other people think. Really, I always have been quite an individual. ;D
When I think back on my younger self, I realize that although I shared several traits with Mary Anne, I could really be pretty different from her in other ways, as far as how I acted given the situation. There were some things I did with the kids at school that I can’t see Mary Anne doing at all- like making up silly songs, getting wild and crazy and pretending to be a leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day, and making kids march around the playground with me, holding up a huge made-up sign and throwing coins on the ground “for the poor” (don't ask- I don't remember the details ;D). I could actually be pretty hyper and exuberant sometimes, despite my relatively quiet personality. These are things I could actually see Abby doing. ;D
It’s hard to say now which sitter I’m exclusively like, since I can identify with all of them in different ways now. I consider myself to be much more of a Stacey than I ever was in the past (clothes-conscience , NYC lover, good at math, etc.). I’m still like Mary Anne in the organization and compassion departments, but I don’t consider myself shy anymore- just more quiet and reserved. I'm like Mallory because we both love to read and write. Abby and I are actually really pretty different, but we have some subtle similarities. I also look more like her. I think Abby is the most “individual” and unique of the sitters, and I think this is one of the reasons why I like her so much. We're both kind of like the "different" ones in the group in our own ways.

I know how you feel, kind of. I'm not "cool" or "trendy," but sometimes things I genuinely like suddenly come into fashion, and I feel almost guilty for liking them, like people are going to think I'm just following the crowd. Which is stupid for a number of reasons (for one thing, nobody actually cares, for another, I don't really try to establish my identity as an "individual.") I wonder if Dawn would change things about herself now that it's en vogue to be "green." Oh, and I love Hot Topic-style clothes (I don't look very good in them, so I don't have much, but I like them!), too, and I like a good amount of anime (though I haven't seen a whole lot of it, and some of it I dislike), and enjoy video games, though I STINK at them! I'm totally like Anna Stevenson...I'm just terrible! But unlike Anna, I like them. I'm most like Mallory, in a lot of small ways as well as big ones. The one really weird similarity, though, is that we both had great-uncles named Joe who had Alzheimer's. Mine was on my mother's side, though. I also love horses, love writing, have glasses (though I don't want contacts, and I will probably need braces for a second time someday, but I don't know if I want to spend that kind of money on something superficial), love sparkly things (though not glittery clothes, because the glitter just flakes off and makes a mess) and often don't stand up for myself. And when I do, it's usually in a totally inappropriate way. (I actually "benched" myself during gym class, too! Gah, I'm so embarrassed looking back on that...) I do tend to complain a lot, though I'm trying to work on that. I'm also "sturdy" and not really what you'd call pretty. I'm also a bit like Mary Anne. I cry at EVERYTHING, even when I'm not really upset (and wow is it embarrassing), and I can be really passive-aggressive because I hate confrontation.

I'm a Claudia/Dawn combo. I'm really into art like Claudia. I love to paint and am also into photography and jewelry making. Like Dawn, I really care about the environment and am a vegetarian. I'm also really into ghost stories and the supernatural like she is. I look a lot like Dawn too, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

I'm somewhere between an Abby, Mallory, Mary Anne, Stacey, and Dawn...
Mallory - shy, love to read/write Mary Anne - shy, used to be over-protected by our parent/s, love animals (especially our cats), overly sensitive and compassionate Stacey - boy-crazy and love fashion Dawn - love the enviroment and save the trees, both grew up in SoCal and have long blonde hair (hers is longer), both are individualists and are laid-back Abby - her allergies

I'm a mixed of Mary Anne, Claudia and Mallory. Like Mary Anne I'm painfully shy and quiet, like Mallory I love writing and reading and like Claudia I love arts and crafts.

Fashionwise, I've always been like Kristy...comfort over style and I often wear the first thing my hand hits in the clothing drawers.
Personalitywise, I'm like Mallory with a bit of Claudia in there.
I love to read, I hate sports, in school I always hated gym and math and loved creative writing and art classes best.
Like Stacey and Mary Anne, I love city life and love living in NYC.
