Hmmm . . . I wonder if he could have controlled Cokie? It seemed to me that he could have. I mean, she probably would have put up with that in order to stay looking cool - on the arms of such a great guy and all.

^^I would imagine that he would get tired of Cokie's personality way before he'd try to control her. of course, that's just my opinion.

forgot to add.....did Logan and Cokie actually *date*? I mean, from No. 46, the only impression I got on their "dating" is that they went to see a couple of movies. I mean, it doesn't seem like they kissed or anything *eww-the thought of kissing her!* Does anyone else think that they really just "went out" to keep Cokie from being too nasty to MA? (not that it worked, if they did).

Well, they spent a lot of time together, going to movies and games and such. I don't know if they kissed, of course . Also I think finally going out with Logan just to see Mary Anne "winning" him back again would make Cokie more bitter towards her, not less

I don't think *anyone* could have controlled Cokie. If they didn't like her as she was, she probably would've just dumped them, no matter how hot they were.

I don't think Logan and Cokie really dated... I think he was naively hanging out with her while she was thinking it was more serious so she could get MA's guy.

Logan/Cokie I think he knew she really liked him and hung out with her anyway. Which sucks. Logan was ok in Mary Anne's first few books but went downhill fast. He was an ass in Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger. Mary Anne was pissed at Dawn about the phone message but immediately apologized to Logan when she found out what happened. Logan had the hissy fit about her not believing in him or something weird like that. And I thought he was downright creepy in Mary Anne vs. Logan.

^^that thing he did for her for Valentine's Day waas a little.....over the top maybe? I mean, he acted like they were in their 20s and were seriously involved with each other. I still thought it was a cute gesture- if you exclude his possessive moments.

He's nicer in Mary Anne Misses Logan! And from then until the rest of the regular series, he was a good boyfriend.
But yeah, the Valentine's Day thing in Mary Anne vs. Logan was a bit over the top. Would thirteen year olds *really* cook romantic dinners and give roses and bracelets? Isn't that a bit creepy?

Don't forget the carriage he got to take her home from the Pike's after returning from Sea City!
But all in all, I really like Logan. I don't think he had bad intentions with Mary Anne, maybe he was a bit over-zealous, but still I think he was a good guy.

I agree with sparklymouse, I think Logan knew what he was doing with Cokie. He's not a moron, he has to know that hanging out with her is going to make Mary Anne jealous.

i actually never liked logan. but then again, i've never been a girl to go for jocks.
i think it's really weird that richard let mary anne date logan seriously; i don't think my parents would have let me at 13.

^^I agree- t hat did seem weird. I mean, especially since Richard had just started to loosen up with Mary Anne. I don't know how realistic it is to think that a father who still has a 10 minute phone call limit with his daughter start to seriously date a guy when she's just turned 13.

^ yeah, no way. My parents were maybe slightly more conservative than normal and they would not have supported my sisters and I being in "serious" relationships at 13. Probably because 13 yr old relationships are not as wholesome in real life as in the BSC! ;D

(MA vs Logan I think) Richard did say to MA that she was seeing Logan too much when he found out that OMG *shock* that MA had gotten a C on an English paper.
