Mary Anne's okay, I like her books. I can see myself being annoyed with her in real life though. She's not my favorite, but not my least favorite either.

I've always liked MA, she's one of my faves - a lot like me in that I'm sensitive and shy, as well. She seems just, really sweet. Okay, I know at times she does seem to fly off the handle and say mean things, but don't we all?

I am also a Mary Anne fan. I have always been one. I like her because she reminds me of how I was when I was 13, minus the boyfriend thing, although I was in love with my best guy friend then and for the next 5 years after and wrote him all kinds of "Mary Anne" type letters. HAHA! I was a silly child, poor guy, probably didn't know what to think. Oddly, we are still good friends. I have not read The Fire at Mary Anne's House, and part of me doesn't want to, because it is the end of the regular series.

that book almost made me cry...i have it....but the one that actually made me cry was the last one in the entire Baby-sitters club series...it put the BSC to an end...Graduation Day...the day when the members see each other for the last time... ~~Kristy Jenny Drew~~

I love Mary Anne a lot! She is my most favorite BSC character. My first BSC book that I ever read was Mary Anne Saves The Day and I was hooked on the series and fell in love with Mary Anne.

I have never disliked Mary Anne, she just never was one of my favorite characters. I used to be somewhat like her when I was a little kid, sensitive and a little shy, that changed as I got older now and now I am more a Kristy.
