i was reading stacey and the cheerleaders and stacey vs the bsc, and it occured to me while all these middleschool kids are hanging out at the cool places in town, where are all the highschool students, and why is it perfectly normal for 13 yr olds to eat in the fanciest restaurant in town and no adult bats an eye, it allways made me wonder

Chances are good that the teens hang out somewhere else, and the restaurants aren't that fancy.

The high schoolers are probably at the Stamford mall or getting drunk in someone's basement. Or maybe that's just how my high school went. The Stoneybrook teens probably track down old ladies and help them cross streets, that sort of thing.

Helping senior citizens across streets sounds about right. I don't think anyone in Stoneybrook has everheard of drinking, except maybe Stacey's crazy friends who sneak wine into concerts from their socks.

I've always been amazed at the places people can hide things in fiction. Whenever I try to hide things on my person it never works out quite as well.

I don't know. One summer, I worked as an usher at a movie theatre and when we would clean the theatres after the movies, we'd find things all the way from six packs of beer, bags from fast food restaurants to empty half gallon containers of ice cream. And we're talking summer, so it's not like people were wearing big heavy coats. I never figured out how they got some of these things in.

^Oh, that's easy. That's what purses are for. Smuggling food into movie theatres and smuggling strange things out, like the NO CELL PHONE sign.
Seriously, my purse looks kind of big, but you would not imagine the things I can fit in there. No one ever thinks to search it, either. I guess because while it does look large, it doesn't look like it would hold the things it does.

^ Oh, me too. Once I had stuffed my jacket into my coat, and while I was out with some friends I got cold so I pulled it out and put it on. One of my friends was like, where did that come from? When I told him I'd been keeping it in my purse, he was amazed. My purse doesn't even look that big, but it can fit my entire life in it, pretty much. ;D

if only my socks were big enough to hide little bottles of wine! Perhaps that's where the fashion trend of wearing multiple layers of socks over one another started? Or else those terrible scrunch socks. Lots of extra room!

Anyone who doesn't sneak food into movie theaters is an idiot. Well, I do buy the popcorn once in a while, but that's it. I'd never pay 3x the normal amount for a little box of candy.

I agree. ;D The movie theatre by my house has a policy where you are allowed to bring outside food as long as you clean up after yourself, so I always bring a snack.

There's this theater in my area that has really crappy popcorn, so every time we go, we bring our own popcorn or at least my mom does. I'm not a big popcorn person so I just buy the candy ;D.

I never buy the candy at the movie theater. It is way too expensive. I sometimes buy a soda and thats about it.
