In Mary Anne to the Rescue, Uncle Ed's is a gourmet restaurant, but in Stacey and the Bad Girls, it's a fast food place.

In Karen's Newspaper, Karen says they don't know anybody who smokes cigars. But her father smokes cigars occasionally.
In Dawn's Big Move, Dawn is talking about Kristy becoming rich, and says, "No, she didn't win the lottery." ...Um, technically, she did win the lottery, Dawn. And so did you. Remember California Girls?
Edited to add another inconsistency I found today: On page 134 of Dawn's Big Move, Dawn says she'd never kept a journal before. In the first California Diaries book, Dawn says that all the kids at Vista are required to keep journals starting in kindergarten, and that the new one she's starting is journal #22 for her.

In Mary Anne and the Zoo Mystery, MA says on page 39 that she schedules a sitting job for Kristy and Jessi at the Pikes on Thursday, but then when they write about the Thursday sitting job a few chapters later, it's Kristy and Mallory sitting.

In #14, Jessi says the ballet school isn't preparing a real ballet but then comes Coppelia in #16.

I'm rereading Mary Anne's Big Breakup. I noticed some inconsistencies this time around. One is during her phone call with Dawn, Mary Anne thinks that when she first met Logan, her hair was still in braids but by then, she wasn't wearing braids. Also, during a BSC meeting, Kristy says, "Remember when we all went to Hawaii and you and Logan tried that TBI thing?" Only Kristy didn't go with them and neither did Mallory or Shannon.

Not necessarily true. She still sported ponytails on the cover of New York, New York, Mary Anne Vs. Logan and so on to make her identifiable on the covers

Or Mary Anne just didn't remember the precise moment that she had her first make over. (And now that I think of it that way, why did she get two big game changing make overs?)

I realized that Mary Anne wanted a change after New Year's right after the New Year's where Dawn wanted a change. And this time Dawn was mean the way Mary Anne was mean to her during their double date. I guess it had to do with the success of the makeover and boys theme at that time in the series
I also think she kept the ponytails just on the cover for her identity so she's not mixed up with Kristy and the illustrators/ann decided to shorten her hair to make it easier

Also, in Mary Anne's Big Breakup, Logan lends Mary Anne a box he kept with everything she ever wrote to him in, so she can recreate her journal that was lost in the fire. There she finds this picture from when she cut her hair and says Kristy took it when she got the haircut. But that's not what happened. Logan saw Mary Anne before Kristy did, so Kristy didn't take a photo beforehand.

^ Plus, Kristy didn't like her hair at first, so she would never have taken a picture of it. I think we've covered this one before, either in this thread or in the one for #60.

^ I didn't read the previous 87 pages, so I don't know if it's covered here but I'm sure it was covered in Mary Anne's Makeover.

I can't believe they would miss that one, the club turning against her for the makeover always stuck with me and I always felt it was an unforgettable event in BSC-land. It's possible Kristy could have taken it at the dance after the haircut when she liked it and they left that part out

^ Maybe repeating 8th grade so many times made them forget or become confused about what really happened.

From Mary Anne and the Library Mystery:
Um, Mary Anne, Wednesday isn't traditionally followed by another Wednesday the next day. It should be Thursday now.
Oh, and also this, in the final chapter:
Everything Sean said about feeling ignored and being shunted off to lessons he wasn't interested in is completely consistent with the subplot of Claudia and the Sad Good-bye. How could Mary Anne forget about that? She was even the one who was helping Claudia with the kids' art class, so she was in the best position (well, except for Claud, of course) to see how Mr. and Mrs. Addison treated Corrie and Sean.
