Today I saw Mallomars in the grocery store and immediately thought of Claudia (One of the books has a Mallomars reference).
Every time I see Bloomingdale's or someone with a Bloomingdale's bag or hail a taxi (I live in NYC area), I think of Stacey.
I dated a guy named Claudio, and when I first met him, Claudia Kishi's name came to mind and I thought, "Wow, the male version of a BSC name" (no joke). (Claudio was a jerk btw).
Others?

I think of the BSC with almost everything now. ;D There are too many specifics to even think of - names, movies, anything that is mentioned in the book often makes me think of the BSC. ;D

When I was getting my cast taken off last week and I saw that blade thing that they use to cut it, I kept thinking of Claudia and her vision of the girl tied to a conveyer belt and some guy comes and saves her when she's getting her cast taken off in Claudia and the Bad Joke ;D Also I jumped at one point when my doctor was cutting it and I kept thinking of Claudia's doctor who said that if she moves his hand could slip... that terrified the hell out of me!

Whenever I eat hummus or tofu, I think of Dawn. When she made those healthy lunches and snacks to sell in "Dawn and Too Many Sitters" -- I seriously would have bought some food, it sounded delicious! I still have never seen/eaten a mallomar, but I recognize the name. It sounds too sweet. When I was a kid, I was with my mom looking at bsc books at the store, and my mom was showing me a Stacey book and said it looked interesting because Stacey had diabetes, just like my grandfather. So she bought me a Stacey book and I remember showing it to my grandparents when they came out to visit and I really became a Stacey fan after that point. Diabetes never grossed me out in the books, because I knew that if you had diabetes, giving yourself insulin was just something you had to do. Anyway...We were staying with my grandmother's cousin in California, and there happened to be some girls my age across the street -- so they invited the girls over and it turns out that they read BSC books too, so that was a really cool visit. Later on, in 9th grade, there were 2 girls in my history class that had diabetes, and that reminded me again of Stacey. I have a lot of Diabetes-related stories, but I'm just going to go ahead and stop, otherwise I'll be here all day, lol.

Yesterday we made ornaments and stuff for the Christmas Tree at our college... it immediately made me think of Claudia and how much fun she would have doing that, and how... uncreative I was Lol I just took some ready made ornaments and painted them

A little girl at my church plays softball, and her team is called the Bashers. Gee, wonder what I thought of? :-)

^ That is a big one since I've never heard of another team called the Bashers. Wonder if they got it from the books. ;D

I did a report on diabetes when we had to to an illness report in 7th grade. Guess why!
I think of Stacey whenever I think of certain Central Park landmarks, like the crouching panther statue and the Delacorte Clock.

I just saw them sledding down the stairs on mattresses in Princess Diaries 2 and it made me think of Jessi and the Troublemaker. ;D Now I want to reread that one. ;D

I was talking to this guy in the student center just a little while ago... he made me think so much of Stacey and math, and I was just going "shut up" he took calculus in high school, slept through it and still got an A. tested out of college algebra. (Well duh, if he already took calculus...)

It always hurt my head whenever Stacey did some quick math on the spot. How can someone count money just by looking inside an envelope??
