At Target, a woman was asking an electronics salesman were the film went in a digital camera and how much developing cost. He was sure surprised by her question. I hope if she did get the clearance camera she was looking at she enjoys it. That really did remind me of Ann and how sometimes old fashioned she can be. I can also be that way about some things, myself but lol am grateful for my digital camera.

At Target, a woman was asking an electronics salesman were the film went in a digital camera and how much developing cost. Oh my gosh. I think I would have had to hang around just to see how that conversation went.

I chuckled to myself upon seeing some protein bars at the gym, because the brand was abbreviated BSC! I can imagine grown up Kristy manufacturing a line of those!

An unexpected BSC reference from my dad (I don't think he has ever read a BSC). He just shared that he forgot that the shampoo he uses says to only use a tiny amount because it is very concentrated. I instantly thought of the infamous Calladews and poor Claire. I will have to look out for that on this reread. that there truly can be a BSC reference in most anything and at unexpected times!

...I know I keep posting here, but I had to smile while watching Blue Jasmine the other day. Cate Blanchett's character wasn't happy that she had to move from Fifth Avenue to Brooklyn. And she was immensely sophisticated, for real. Of course, one hopes Stacey won't meet the same fate as Jasmine.

I read the Boxcar Children the Pet Shop Mystery last night. Guess what one of the cats was named? Boontsie!!! What an unexpected sight that was to see. Just in case, Boontsie is Stacey's Dad's nickname for her. Also in this book was a not very nice character (he reminded me of the Dognappers in Dawn and the Disappearing Dogs) because he and a friend were trying to sell animals that didn't belong to them for a lot of money. This person's last name was Fowler. I believe Reginald Fowler was a character in MA and the Silent Witness. I wonder if Ann ever read the BCC books?

I heard Brother Louie on the radio this morning. Definitely a BSC start to the day.

^ Do you know who sang the version you listened to since at least two bands sang such a song with that title?

I think it was version by Stories (which I think was the original version?).

I saw a U-Haul while out running errands today, and it made me think of the Ramseys' dismay at Aunt Cecelia bringing a U-Haul full of stuff when she moved in with them. Actually, every time I see a U-Haul I think of that book, haha!

I was visiting a cemetery and saw an "Upchurch" headstone. Reminded me of those sitting charges in Stacey's Mistake...Peggy and Natalie?

On April 1st, I was walking through a field and it was a typical spring day. The ground was wet and mushy underneath my feet. For some reason, I thought of Mind Your Own Business, Kristy! (probably because it was set and published in April). Then I thought of how excited I would be at the beginning of each month for a new BSC book to come out. Thought I would tell everyone on here as you'll think I'm less crazy than the average person for those in depth BSC thoughts, haha.

I was on vacation with a friend and there was this place selling snake bracelets that immediately made me think of Claudia. They were really cool, the whole body is shapeable so you can twist the bracelet to look however you want. My friend got one for her mom who likes snakes, and then I couldn't resist getting one too. Here's my friend modeling it:
