I hate the combination of primary red and blue in clothing, I think it looks awful. I forget, is this scene in this book? Whose house is it? In this scan, Stacey's eyes look demonic red.

I always want to know who the people in the framed pictures are. I do also like the flower print chairs.

The megaphone looks like it's just a piece of rolled-up construction paper.

I feel like it's supposed to be Charlotte.

Weren't they at Johanssen's house. In this cover. Cause, Stacey baby-sit Charlotte. That chaise does look comfortable to sit in. I do wonder who's in the picture frame on the wall. Mr & Mrs Johanssen? Or maybe his parents or her parents. Picture, looks like it's back in 19th century.

I have to agree with celaeno about Stacey's eyes. They do look demonic. The photo with two people look like it's two men instead of presumably being Mr. and Mrs. Johanssen.

I think Stacey looks cute here. I didn't have this book as a kid so the cover is not very familiar to me. I'd love to relax in that room.

I love this cover, I love the coziness of being surrounded by your best friends while telling ghost stories at a sleepover/campfire while eating junk food. What could be better?
Stacey and Kristy look really pretty, like this cover might be their prettiest. Mallory looks like a man. Something about her shirt looks like it would be worn by a rugged guy on the cover of a romance novel.

Aw, I really like how you said that Celaeno, though I've never been a fan of ghost stories. The cover does have a cozy and close knit friend feel, that's cool. Is Dawn wearing red and Stacey behind Mal? I would like to think it is Stacey behind Mal and she and MA are talking about Sea City or sharing some other BSC memory. When they weren't fighting in Sea City, I really enjoyed reading about both of them becoming friends. I'm glad Jessi is joining Claud, Kristy, and Mal in a s'mores treat. If Dawn is in red she (and Mal, in a way) appear to be watching for something (maybe the Bayards)? beyond the campfire. Kristy does look happy and I think I once had a watch like she is wearing. Happy campers and fun cover

I like the cover. It makes me want to go camping. The only complaint I have is that Jessi's face looks like a boy's.

I always thought Stacey and Dawn had really nice hair here. And I have the exact same pair of cowboy boots.

I like to think that Jessi said something funny and Mal and Dawn are looking at her in appreciation. Kristy's positioning looks very uncomfortable. All the dirt and gravel would push into her naked ankles. I just noticed that every girl is sitting differently which is kinda random. Water scares me anyway, so black ghosty water is extra creepy.
