Archie looks just like i imagine him though. Claud doesn't look asian here at all. Archie looks just what I imagined him too. Claud doesn't look Asian here, and she doesn't look thirteen here at all. A white shirt and jeans. Claudia is such a WILD dresser. I always liked Ashley's skirt. And Archie is cute. You'll need to wear outfits like that if you're going to spend hours/a hour with kids, especially with Jackie. I really like Ashley's skirt here too. I actually like her outfit here, except her shoes and her socks. Maybe if she changed to a pair of brown or pink pumps or ballet shoes, she would look pretty sophisticated.

arachie looks adorable. i really don't like ashley's boots, especially since she's wear a skirt (which sorta looks like an apron). why is ashely pulling on claudia's arm like that. can't she see that claud is busy, but the pleading look in her eyes is funny. it makes her look desperate.

^ Agree about Archie. I don't actually care for Ashley's outfit and fors some reason, she always looked like she had a cane. That made me not want to read the book for the longest time because I thought it was some book about a girl with a disability (not that there would be anything wrong with that - just makes me kind of uncomfortable to read about sometimes....) ;D

Claudia's "jackie proof" outfit seems to include a little too much white. I would be more likely to wear something like a black tee shirt and shorts, with sneakers. That way it's less likely to be spilled on, and you would be able to move freely.

Archie looks adorable here . I don't really like Ashley's outfit here. Timbs with a long skirt? What on Earth was she thinking? ;D

oh man... the fashion!
i remember the lockers being purple on the cover of mary anne's makeover, but olive green on dawn's big move. personally, i think purple is a weird color for lockers.

Ah it sounds better than the rusty maroon ones we had, or the boring tan ones but yeh, purple of all colours seems strange.

^especially juxtaposed with those bright yellow walls!
They also have those cool HUGE lockers kids on TV always had, as opposed to the ones we had into which you could barely cram a Chicago-appropriate winter coat, let alone anything else after that.
I just don't see Cary wearing sloppy, oversized clothes. It bothers me. I think Mary Anne is pretty cute here though. Jessi's face again looks totally unlike any other version of her I can recall. Kristy's face also seems different to me, especially her cheekbones, but the expression is very Kristy.
Is Kristy's watch the fancy one Cary artful-dodged off her?
