^Ha ha, that's a good theory. I remember on the site U&Me4BSC they (jokingly) have a theory that Richard Spier fathered all the kids in Stoneybrook with double names, including Emily Michelle. We could have a book set in the future in Stoneybrook, of Emily Michelle seeking our her parentage.

If so, do you think Richard fathered her too?

I guess she should be added to the list!
They really do have a lot of double names in Stoneybrook, considering that off the top of my head I can't think of anyone I knew growing up who had a double name.

^Neither can I. I don't know anyone who has double name. Usually single name. Growing up, I hear peoples first names. Only time, you hear their full name, is when they got in trouble or they told you, their full name. When first meeting them.

I knew/know pretty many, but they were never as long as David Michael or Emily Michelle...more like John David, John Michael, Mary Lou, Mary Jane, Anna Lee, Anna Belle, etc.
There's also Rose Marie Montey, an 8th grader!

I never knew very many, except my "extra grandmother". she was Mary Alyce, and no one EVER called her Mary.

One of my brother's friend's moms is Mary Jane. (Which as you can imagine was a source of many chuckles among them.)

I had to think very hard about this. I've known a Mary Anne, Mary Lou and Carrie Ann. No guy doubles that I can think of. I still don't think it's odd or unusual, though. I kinda like it.

There's one male double I know of at home but that's to distinguish him from the father since he's a junior. He's John Robert.

My mom and I were just discussing how she's the only one of her sisters (she has five) to have a double name, and it not ending in A. Strange!

Was Katie Beth the same age as Jessi? If so, she was probably conceived when Mary Anne was with her grandparents. Maybe Richard tried to ease his loneliness with Katie Beth's mother (who may or may not have been married at the time).

Katie Beth is a year older.
