What do you think is the most unrealistic aspect of life in BSC land? For me, it's the fact that 13 year olds have no problem getting actual, paying jobs in stores restaurants, ect. Even Laine, in NY, got a "real" job.

Hmm, that's a hard one. Probably the fact that 11 and 13 year olds are treated like adults and given so much freedom.

I agree with them being able to get actual jobs. I don't know where that would ever be allowed. I also just think some of the random things that happen to them - winning the lottery, Claudia being recognized as like this insanely talented artist (seriously, she makes earrings and collages. whoop dee doo), all the trips they take (a middle school going to Hawaii and Europe?!), the situations they magically fix with their clients, their clients in general... they're so well behaved!
Oh also I think the Krushers and Bashers are totally unrealistic. 13 year olds starting softball teams? Yeah right. And sadly I think it's unrealistic how supportive and involved a lot of the parents are... I mean Dawn's mom leaves work early to watch that stupid circus they put on in MA and Camp BSC.

I would go for the charges being so well-behaved and the bsc generally acting like mini-adults.

Eleven-year-old Jessi being left solely in charge of her siblings for an entire weekend?

Almost all of it. That's why I like the books so much! Who wants reality when you can have something better (or at least different)

Parents hiring 13 year old girls they've never met from out of town to take their very young children around New York City.

yeah, that seems pretty silly to be taking care of all those infants and getting pregnant again. One baby is hard enough.
