I love when the children's books I buy have the old owner's name in them for some reason.

^ That's interesting. I actually hate to have any writing in any of my books but have gotten a good laugh from this thread. Anyone have any other good "notebook" entries to share? ;D

I don't have many BSC books that even have notebook pages I'm missing a lot of later ones and my early books are all original covers. When I do get later books, though, I always flip right to the back to look for writing, heh

I have discovered that I don't have that many new covers and that a lot of the later books I have appear to be brand new. I did however find two Claudia books. From Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls I give you (original spelling included)
If I could change one part of the story it would be: No more phone calls!
The last time I was most afraid was when: my gran'pa took a flaslight went boos Other things I am afraid of are: pidgens
If I were babysitting like Claudia and I jept getting scary phone calls Iwould: Just ignor the phone
The most surprising phone call that I ever got was: a boy that thot/ thinked I was 13 years old!
Oh and they ask for her phone number and she gives it. Which is a stupid, stupid idea from the people at Scholastic. Seriously? Encourage small children to give out their phone numbers?
Claudia and Mean Janine
The BSC member I am most like is: Mary Anne because I have a soft spot for animals.
If I could write a Babysitters Club book it would be about: Mary Anne going to the senior prom
If I could choose anyone for a brother it would be: Danielle brother learn to walk
If you could choose ant member of the BSC as a sister who would it be: Mary Anne because I really like her and we could play with our kitties.

I think whoever wrote in the first one is a Claudia in training.

Ok, this is from a copy of Stacey's Broken Heart that I got from the thrift store: "If I could write a Baby-Sitters Club book it would be about THE BABY-SITTERS MEET LEONARDO DICAPRIO" ;D "Once I broke someone else's heart by TELLING MY BEST FRIEND THAT SHE WAS ADOPTED." But this had me laughing most of all: "If I could ask anyone to be my boyfriend/girlfriend I would ask LEONARDO because HE IS CUTE, BABY! ;D ;D ;D haha Also, on the front inside cover the girl had written her name and then wrote "If you steal this book, I will pound you into goo."

This one is great! I needed a laugh this afternoon, too ;D Unfortunately, I haven't found any good entries in any of my books because most of them are pretty new and the ones that have been written in all came from one girl who never wrote anything interesting. But I haven't read them all. I will have to look more carefully. Maybe I can find at least one to laugh at.

LMAO! ;D So far I haven't gotten any books with the notebook pages. The ones I've ordered all came with the original cover.
