^ That is really disturbing. Glad I never found one like that. Tonight in Kristy and the Vampires, I didn't find a notebook entry but found a few pictures colored on index cards. For some reason, they made me smile and felt like little presents for me (that probably sounds weird - might just be the mood I'm in ;D) One of the pictures has a cat and a little girl standing by some flowers and is really cute ;D

I don't mind books already having writting in it, it gives the book some history. I never wrote in them, I dont think. I stopped collecting by the time they came out

I got a weird one. I just got Kristy's book from ebay and on the inside of the cover there was a picture of a person laying on the ground, seemingly lifeless, and Casper, (the ghost) looking at her. There's an arrow pointing to the girl that says, Monica.

^ Wow. That is really strange. Was the picture drawn? Do you think it was done by a little kid? Wonder what the significance was of that in that book.

I just got a copy of Karen's Swim Meet, and some little girl drew and wrote on all of the pictures and added a few comments in the text as well. On the first page, it says:
To Zoey Kinarchi You are my best friend! From: elly Pilacat
I don't know who doodled in the book, Zoey or Elly, but whoever it was sure was obsessed with boobs. She drew breasts and/or cleavage on every girl (and some of the guys) in the illustrations.
Page 2. Karen, Hannie, and Nancy are eating Popsicles. Hannie: aren't we stuped Karen: yes Nancy: Yes Karen: I have boobs!
(One of the best things about this person is that she spells "stupid" wrong.)
Page 13. Karen, David Michael, and Sam or Charlie are eating outside at a big-house barbecue. David Michael and Sam-or-Charlie have boobs. The person has also, for whatever reason, drawn a bottle of pop on the picnic table among all the food and labelled it "POP." David Michael: Like my boobs
On page 18, she has written, "I love the breaststroke 'cause I love my breasts."
Page 31. Karen, Terri, and Kristin are in the pool. I can't tell them apart with their bathing caps on. Girl #1: You know, we suck! Girl #2: Yeah! Girl #3: She's Right! We do suck! She also drew a fish in the pool. The fish is saying, "The water's full of jerks!"
I'll finish this some other time... it's a lot of work to document it!

^Hee! That sounds like someone's little brother decided to add his personal touches to the book. Or that girl really does just like boobs.
Out of all the books I have, only two have writing other than a name. Nothing really interesting either. In Abby's Twin the part of the story they'd change was when "they were twins". Um, ok, must not have liked the book too much then.
In Mary Anne and the Little Princess: Mary Anne and her friends teach Victoria words such as "cool" and "great." Some words I would teach her are "What up GDog."

^I thought it could be somebody's little brother, but I prefer to think that maybe it's a little girl who will soon grow up to snark about the BSC as a hobby... you know, like us.

^ That was hilarious Wanderingfrog. Maybe the girl had recently bought a "bust enhancer?" Hee hee. Anyways, yours was great sparklymouse. Now it makes me WISH people would have written in my books.
Edit: To aln, oops sorry, I missed your post. Anyways, it wasn't a drawing. It was just a photograph from the movie or something. It seemed to be done by a teenager. I dunno.

^Haha maybe the girl who owned the book never grew any boobs and that was why she was so obsessed with them. ;D
