Jessi does have very long legs. That house looks very neat and clean.

Gorgeous cover! All those pets living in harmony even the huge dog and the cats. ❤️ Maybe the best Jessi cover?

That's the smallest great Dane ever! It's a really sweet picture though. The French illustrator did all good covers.

Jessi looks like a kind hearted animal lover. I like her outfit.

I can't find many clear pictures of this cover. This isn't very flattering for either of them. I like how Mallory's hair just gets bigger and wilder on each cover. Titles: A zoo for Jessie Animal babysitter Jessie Jessi as a pet sitter Jessie, babysitter…zoo Justine, animal-sitter! Jessica’s misfortunes An unusual assignment for Jessi

One thing really struck me as odd in this book (and I didn't see it mentioned in the thread)- Jessi had her friends and sitting charges over quite a lot. Isn't that kind of irresponsible? I don't recall her getting permission to invite people over to visit the animals, and what if someone got bitten or hurt one of the animals? That could theoretically lead to legal action. Am I taking this too seriously? I just thought that was strange, not to mention that I'm not sure the Mancusis would want random kids in their house. I guess there is a stronger sense of trust in a town like Stoneybrook than there is in a high-crime city like the one I live in.
This book isn't my favorite, but I do like it. I love animals, though, even snakes. I do think they should've hired someone older to care for them, though, and had them house sit as well, like I've seen pointed out in this thread. I do hope the dogs had access to the yard... only being let out twice a day seems cruel.
