What an ungrateful little snot Becca is. She doesn't even like her pet whereas there's kids like Jamie who doesn't even have one !

She almost looks like she's sitting in a boxing ring. This is too blah. My eyes went straight to the girl's butt cheeks in the mirror in the exact center of the cover. Lol. Titles: Who blames Jessie? Jessi and the ghost of the dance school ETA: Some of my pictures may only load on certain browsers? The top one does on Edge but not on Chrome. Sorry.

I liked this a lot more than I thought. It might be my favorite Jessi book so far, actually. I think it's because the movie Suspiria (original) made ballet more interesting to me lol, and this is one of "mystery" books.
(On that note, I like the regular series mystery/ spooky books, but can't get into the actual mystery series. I don't think I'm planning on re reading them aside from Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic. Maybe a couple others that have major arcs that are important to the main series. Idk. I really don't get it. Can anyone else relate or am I just weird?)
I don't have much to say, though, aside from echoing what everyone already said. Jessi. TELL AN ADULT. This stuff is serious, arguably more so than Mystery Admirer. She actually got injured. She should've told Mme Noelle when she began to get the notes, along with her parents. I don't get her logic at all. Then again, I guess there wouldn't be much of a story.
Jessi is a better person than me. I wouldn't have forgiven Hilary. I also found Jessi tricking her to be very unbelievable, too easy, and underwhelming. I also find their reconciliation in the end very unrealistic. Argh. The rest of the book was actually decent imo, but I hate how it's wrapped up. It would've been way more interesting to have Hilary sabotage Jessi during Opening Night. Probably too dark for the BSC, but I thought Hilary acted too nice when she was found out.
I didn't like the pet show subplot tbh. Idk why, because I love animals, I just felt like it got very repetitive. Becca annoyed me so much. The Pikes made it more bearable, though. I do love that Boo-Boo won "Best Personality."
Huh. I had more to say than I thought.

I really like this book too! I like seeing a junior member flourish at something other than sitting, and this is Jessi at her best. She has other books with heavier topics but this is the best ballet book.
