When I was younger, this was like the only one (at that point) that I hadn't read, and I so desperatly wanted to. Anyway, finally did awhile ago. Wasn't there some kind of heritage day going on?

^ I don't remember a heritage day in this one but I might be wrong. MA and the Secret in the Attic (pretty sure it's that one) has a Heritage Day, though, and MA helps Charlotte with her project while babysitting. Then the BSC sets up cut outs for people to have pics taken with at the big picnic. Again, I might be wrong as I haven't read either one of these for a while but I think this is what I remember.

^ I didn't remember a heritage day, either. I was afraid to say anything, though, just in case there was.

I haven't read this in ages. Why does Charlotte go to a BSC meeting? I'm shocked Kristy would allow that. Then again, if it's a KID, I suppose it's okay, just as long as it's not an outside - gasp - friend.

^ Charlotte's parents have to go out of town because her grandfather is having surgery an she stays with Stacey and her mom. (I think Jessi and her family were going out of town or something too. It's been awhile since I've read the book... i just got it off of amazon though). So because she's staying with Stacey, she gets to go to meetings.

I love the scene where Charlotte goes to the meeting and Kristy lets her pretend to be part of the club - like an honorary jr member. It was so sweet and showed a bit of Kristy's softer side, which I like, instead of her being a tyrant like usual at the meetings. I had forgotten about that part and will have to reread that scene at least

Hmmm... I could have sworn there was something that made them get so involved with the old house, other than the fact it was being torn down. Oh welll, must be wrong

^ Stacey kept having dreams about it. Was that what you were thinking, maybe?

No. Just sitting for Charlotte and a chapter of Claud sitting for the Perkins and Kristy sitting for her siblings. Just reread this one if you're still wondering anything about it, Kylie ;D

This was one of my favourites as a kid. It genuinely used to creep me out, between the nightmares the girls have and the scary things that they saw (even if it was just a workman, I would still freak out a bit if a face appeared at a window!). I actually liked how it was left unresolved, it added a bit more to what otherwise would've been a cop-out mystery. The Stacey/Charlotte relationship was nice to read about as well. I like how they miss each other when Charlotte goes home, it was sweet.

Yay my copy came in the mail! Just read it...and breezed through 3 of the other books that I got too. (got this one and 11-15... read 11 , 12 and 13, now on hello mallory)... anyway I noticed something...maybbe thte beginning of the snarkiness of them repeating 8th grade? i dont know if it was intentional or not, but this was one of the first books written by a ghostwriter. Anyway this book takes place in 8th grade... I'm sure the second year of their eighth grade (since they've already been to camp mohawk and sea city again)...and it mentions that Dawn's lived in stoneybrok for almost two years. She moved in the middle of 7th grade...they're in 8th grade... how is that even remotely close to two years?
