I probably don't do 2.5 hours of chores at my own house on a given day and I have a dog. I don't understand how the house gets so dirty everyday. This book feels like a rehash of Dawn and the Impossible Three with (if possible) a less likeable mom than Natalie Barrett. Outside of true emergencies, babysitter shouldn't be making doctor appointments! Either it's a regular check-up (so it should be already scheduled) or something is wrong (and you'd need to know medical history in order to make that judgement call). Right? And what is Adam doing to make his room such a disaster that it needs constant attention (seriously though, why wasn't he raised to do this himself)? Someone else pointed out Stacey seems to do laundry every day. What in the world is this family doing to make that a necessity?! Dishes are understandable, but besides that, I think it's very OTT. Natalie Barrett feels like an angel compared to Mrs. Cheplin lol. I still don't like her much, but at least she was grateful (although at least Mrs. Cheplin was paying Stacey well... but if she could afford to randomly double her pay, she could afford to hire a part-time housekeeper or something). I will say that with Dawn and the Barretts, Dawn took on the housework herself and Mrs. Barrett came to expect it (but if she wanted it done, she should have started paying her more). And the kids helped her. I don't understand why Stacey was making appointments. Why couldn't Mrs. Cheplin make the appointments from her office? Ugh she's one of my least favorite parents in the series now and I could rant all day. I am so sorry lol.

Kristy's reaction to Stacey taking the job didn't make any sense. Isn't that the point of the club? To get jobs?? Maybe she was still reeling after Dawn leaving and is taking it out on Stacey-who's only recently allowed back in.

But I was talking about Dawn and the Impossible Three anyway. She seems alright after she became Mrs. DeWitt (just average). Right? I didn't understand it either. I'm actually surprised that a regular job like this wasn't brought up more often.
