I voted for teacher. I think she says she maybe wants to be a teacher in Claudia and Mean Janine.

I think in Graduation Day she says she wants to study psychology (although she would have to learn not to OVER-empathize.) But I could see her as a teacher, too--I can't decide if I see her as elementary school (maybe kindergarten) or high school English.

high school English if it's at an all girls school. I see her as a kindergarten/elementary teacher way more. If she was a high school teacher, maybe for family studies/home ec

Why would she only teach girls? And she pretty much failed home ec, so I don't see why she'd ever want to teach it.

I suppose some sort of clerical/office assistant type job is too obvious. I think Pam from The Office is basically Mary Anne all grown up.

I voted Teacher, but I was tempted to vote Social Worker!

And oh yeah, she hates home ec, but she does like cooking, sewing, knitting and all those things anyways.

No, MA hates cooking.

I see at least one of the girls going on to work with children, and for some reason MA seems the most likely. I would say she'd be a kinder or primary teacher.

I remember her cooking in the earlier series, but I guess she didn't enjoy it as much later on in the series.

I see her as some sort of a counsler, maybe for kids. Maybe a college professor? She loves classics and has the grades for it.

I could see her as a travel writer. She enjoyed reading pamphlets on California and New York. She could write a chapter or a book about the places to visit in a city or state, etc.
