hmm.. I can see her as a librarian. I never really thought about it much, but her books and interest in literature really aren't that great, as someone already previously mentioned.

I would see her as a Children's illustrator and author.

How common is it to be both the author and illustrator of books? I don't pay much attention to young picture books where it might be more common, but I pictured Mallory wanting to write meatier stories than that. I don't know offhand of any children's chapter books where the author did their own pictures.

From Stacey's Problem, Mallory became the president of the Internet club at Riverbend and was really interested in learning how to do web designs. Maybe she had a future in computers!

^ If Mallory has a future in computers, she could photoshop or whatever any photos that she doesn't like of herself and make herself look like a million dollars.

Librarian while she tried to publish a novel. Since she did mention the computers, maybe she'd help as an IT.

i think mallory will probably end up as a librarian, mostly because i don't see her EVER getting her book published. she has such messed up views over what makes a good piece of literature (freaking out that HH's book wasn't straight from real life, that horrible play where she puts her family on blast, etc) that i just don't think she would be successful. she'll keep trying though. haha. She's only eleven though. Lots of kids have strange views like that when they're that age. I think Mallory could grow up to be a successful writer.

She'd be ghost writing a series about babysitters

^ best thing ever!
I actually decided on Librarian, because I don't see her getting published easily, and I don't see her as a teacher. I'm pretty sure her siblings tested her patience enough.

I see Mallory being a librarian and an author. Not an illustrator, though. Maybe I could see her owning a bookstore or perhaps even an English teacher. Idk, though, since Mal seems too socially awkward to teach.
