I'm in the minority, in that I generally like the later books better (there are exceptions though). I couldn't name my favorites, I have too many.

^ I like the later books better as well, for some reason.
The first three books I picked will probably always remain my favorites while the last two might change.

I seriously considered putting The Secret Life of Mary Anne Spier on mine, but it didn't quite make the cut.

^ I considered putting The Secret Life of Mary Anne Spier on the list as well but I reconsidered it.

1. Mary Anne Saves the Day 2. Stacey's Emergency 3. Mallory Hates Boys (And Gym) 4. Stacey and the Bad Girls 5. Kristy and Mr. Mom
It was so hard to choose just five, I have a ton of favorites ;D.

I can't name five, because I haven't read them all yet. But if it were from the ones I have read...
Yeah, no, can't do it.

It's hard - my favourites change all the time, so next week my list could be different.

^ I don't think my favorites have changed ever since I began reading the series; when it comes down to listing my favorites, the same ones pop in my head every time ;D. Sometimes I'll have a new favorite but it never replaces my old favorite .

My favourites change all the time, but for now it's:
SS#7 Snowbound #47 Mallory on Strike #127 Abby's Unvalentine M#11 Claudia and the Mystery at the Museum M#35 Abby and the Notorious Neighbour
Snowbound is probably my all-time #1 favourite, the rest are in no particular order.

1. California Girls (First BSC Book i ever read) 2. Stacey's Emergency 3. Stacey Vs. The BSC 4. The Truth about Stacey 5. Mary Anne and the Memory Garden (odd choice I know) Since CG is my #1 favorite, my #5 regular book would be Mary Anne Saves the Day

Took me awhile, but I think this is accurate: 1. Dawn's Big Date I was like Dawn and tried to be cool as a kid. This book seriously taught me to be myself. 2. Poor Mallory! I love how Mal's poor for, like, a couple months . I was poor growing up and got teased, so I could relate. 3. Boy-Crazy Stacey I love the Pike kids and the description of Sea City; it reminds me of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where my friends and I would go as kids. We never vacationed, though, because we lived in the next town over. It's only a 20 min ride from my town to the Boardwalk. Anyway, I like to imagine the Pikes and the sitters at the Boardwalk when I read this. 4. Stacey's Mistake I love the clothing descriptions and the fight between Laine and Claud. Pretty realistic fight. This book just reminds me of being 13. In a good way . Also, I've never been to NY, so I like reading about it. 5. Logan Likes Mary Anne! I don't really care for the Logan/MA relationship, but I like this book. It's fun seeing the sitters move up a grade since it's the only time they ever do! I love the shopping and clothes descriptions in this book. This is another nostalgic one that reminds me of when I was younger. The order varies, but usually I would re-read in this order. At first it was hard to pick my top 5, but then I thought about individual scenes that I like to read about and then realized that they came from books that I re-read on a pretty regular basis.

1. The Ghost at Dawn's House 2. Starring the BSC!
Those two will always be my favourites! The other three I like a lot, but the list does change constantly:
3. Stacey's Emergency 4. Stacey's Choice 5. Claudia and the Middle School Mystery
I think I'm pretty much the only person who likes Stacey's Choice, but what can I say! I loved it as a kid, one of my very favourites, so it has a lot of nostalgia for me.
