I'm kicking around the idea of a fic, and a small detail bit me: do you think that Mallory would stick with a women's only college or go into a coed education?
Two arguments: If Mallory really is AMM, then obviously, Mallory will go to Smith.
But! I'd say Mallory would get bored of single sexed education and go to a coed school.
Thoughts?

I think she would probably go to a girls-only school.

^ I think she'd be most comfortable at one as well.

I see Mallory going to an all female college because she would feel more comfortable there.

Same here, I can see her in an all female school, just like her creator went to.

Definitely girls-only. I was very much like Mallory growing up and also chose a women's college :-)

I think it would depend on how the rest of her years at Riverbend went and whether or not she ever decided to transfer to a (smaller than SHS) co-ed high school. I could see that being a way for Mal to gain more confidence with boys and perhaps larger groups of people as well. On the other hand, I thought Riverbend's very small informal classes sounded awesome and I would have loved such an opportunity, so lol it could go either way.

From her book about Riverbend, she seemed to like single sex education much more.

^Nod, she did. The thing is that was (unfortunately) only one book and because we never got to see her grow up (not that she ever did, but you know) only fanfic can delve into what happened in her future years at Riverbend.

As a boarding school alum, I've toyed with the idea of writing Mallory-at-Riverbend fanfic for a while.

I agree with the majority - all girls!

Agreed. Especially since boys were a big part of Mallory's problem ... they even wrote an entire book about it!

^ Either English, some sort of literature course, or creative writing.

I'm not sure. Maybe she would major in creative writing and minor in English or something like that.
