I'm only a few chapters in, but OMG this book is totally worth it just to see how Kristy and Mary Anne really feel about Claudia's outfits.

Knowing me, I probably won't get around to reading this for another few years. I'm curious about the format. Is it like a super special with alternating chapters or like BSC Remembers where each girl got a section of the book? Or like the Traveling Pants books where everything just flows together? Or none of the above? Does it feel like a BSC book? I have too many questions, I should just go buy the thing...

It's like a super special with alternating chapters. And yes you should just go buy the thing. I actually somehow wound up with two copies. (My sister bought them for me off of amazon.) But i'm already planning to give the extra copy of mine to a friend who was also a huge fan and is a grade school teacher. (She has just about the entire series in her classroom.)

I'd definitely recommend it. It was actually pretty good, and not just in the snarky way the series became. They felt very real, and it's interesting to see the dynamic before they were BSC BFF.

Nobody's going to type it up while it's in stores.

It's like a super special with alternating chapters. But there is no handwriting at all, which makes me slightly sad.

I don't mind that there's no handwriting at all but it's a bit weird because of that.

I got my copy a week before it was supposed to be available in stores and I love it! My favorite chapters are Stacey's and Mary Anne's. I don't really care that much about the other two's chapters.

Ahh, I haven't posted my thoughts yet! I don't think I have much to say, except that the book was simple and sweet and I was very satisfied with it. I think I enjoyed Kristy's chapters the most, which is unusual, considering I usually can't stand her in the books. Kristy was very likable and real in the early books, and in this prequel. I liked that the girls seemed so young in this book, like real 11/12-year-olds.
One small WTF? comment: On Kristy's birthday, she gets a birthday card/present from her mom's old college roommate??? And a birthday card signed by every person in her mom's office? Who the hell gets a card/present from her parent's roommate from 20 years ago or a card signed by a bunch of people whom she's probably never met?
