^ I agree, a road trip across the U.S.A. sounds like fun. That's one of the reasons I like the book.

Winter vacation and sadly, only for ONE reason. What kids at 13 would babysit kids...for free...and give up their time? NONE. I was in a Dodd school in Germany and we went on two ski trips and no way would I at 13 did what they did, too unrealistic. And then, okay, not one reason, what parents after finding out their kids were involved in an accident would allow their kids to be under the wing of 13 year olds!!! Not me, (and what...only two teachers accompanied the trip with the kids...) Sorry, this book just peeved me. No way would the club be allowed to go to the accident site as well, if the roads were that dangerous and the club was put in any danger, and god forbid if one got hurt that would have been a major lawsuit.
by the way, a dodds school was an american school for us military brats stationed overseas in case you don't know, went on two ski trips for one week each at the alps. and oh yah,...we HAd to pay. =)

^Good points, Dee and welcome to the boards. You know, the worst part might really have been that the BSC Members were allowed to go to the scene of the crash. But then Sgt. Johnson allowed them inside the interrogation room while the suspect (Jim Zibreski, from Claudia and the Clue in the Photograph) was present so maybe being shuttled an overturned bus was considered "safe?"

I voted for Shadow Lake, because for me it's pretty boring.

I like all the Super Specials but I think the one I liked less than the others is BSC Remembers because everything that was in the book could've been in a portrait book.

^ it's like they took all the extra chapters that didn't fit in the portraits and just made a whole book of them.

^I agree Oldhickory. Although the extra chapters, some of them anyway, we already knew about so they weren't exactly "new." I overall was very disappointed by BSC Remembers.

I like the book, but I sort of consider it its own thing. I remember being really excited when it came out, though.

I haven't read the last 3, but I voted for Shadow Lake.
I agree with whoever said they treated Remember like a separate book and not really along the same lines as the other SS. I liked Remember, but I see how people are bored with it. It's not really anything besides a bigger portrait.

Didn't Babysitters Remember come before the portraits? I always thought that they liked that book so much/it was so successful that they decided to make a "memories" book for each sitter.

I voted for BSC remembers because of the ones I've read it was basically "catching you up" on previous books. the only part I actually liked was getting to know shannon a bit more.
I also enjoyed the BSC Across the USA it was fun and it involved all of the sitters except Logan and shannon. I'd enjoy a book with all 8 sitters and Logan and shannon....Is there one like that out there?
