What are your favourite Stacey outfits? Mine are
The one she had on the cover of Kristy's Great Idea with that pink sweater and black & white pants
The outfit with the blue shirt on the cover of Stacey's choice, and the outfit she wore to the dinner with her father
the tuxedo at Jessi's dance performance in Jessi & the Dance School Phantom
the polka dot dress in Stacey's Big Crush
the Sunflower dress in Stacey's Big Lie

^All very conservative I really like that one, I also always liked her hair on that cover.

Just from the covers: Stacey's dress and hoop earrings on Stacey's Big Crush were always one of my favorites. The dress is kind of borderline frumpy but manages to be cute at the same time. I liked the cheerleader outfit (minus the too-high socks) on Stacey and the Cheerleaders. It looked very retro compared to what I remember cheerleader outfits looking like. My favorite outfit is probably actually Dawn, but it's whichever blonde girl on Sea City, Here We Come! that is wearing the white tank shirt, flowy patterned skirt and beaded necklace. I wore the exact outfits Stacey had on in Stacey's Secret Friend and Stacey McGill, Matchmaker, and I am not at all sophisticated.

Another outfit that sounded cute was what she wore when meeting Laine at the Stoneybrook train station, and what she wore at the party in Stacey's Mistake, very 80's!

I liked the Mistake outfit, too.
It seemed like she stopped wearing her "fun" clothes and accessories so much as time went on (the pink bird shirt in #8, the necklace with brightly-colored plastic sea creatures in #35, the fruit necklace in #28, the pink plastic shoes in #1). They always made a point of saying she dressed "older" in her dark colors, boots, sweaters, scarves...her look was described as "Banana Republic" a couple of times and when she wasn't wearing black it was white shirts, khaki shorts, etc.

I like her outfit for her dad's dinner, although maybe not for that particular occasion.

I liked the outfit she wore to play group in Claudia and Mean Janine - the big t-shirt with a yellow taxi on it and lime green shorts.
I also thought the outfit she wore while babysitting DM in Kristy's Great Idea was cute - the gray sweatshirt with number 10s on it and whistle earrings. She also had either a skirt or leggings (or maybe both, I can't remember).
I'm a fan of her pink bird shirt in #8 too.

I have a soft spot for the outfit she was introduced in, "a pink sweat shirt with sequins and a large purple parrot on the front; short, tight-fitting jeans with zippers up the outsides of the legs; and pink plastic shoes." It sounds cute, 80s, and definitely not something sophisticated Stacey would wear later on.

In Stacey's Lie front cover. I always like the flower skirt with the pink boob top.

Yeah I liked the pink and purple outfit too a lot, I guess it's showing her maturity over the years wearing less clothes like that
I remember liking her outfit when she and Claudia were coaching the Krushers in Kristy and the Copycat. The yellow shirt with biker shorts I believe
Also, we mustn't forget, her dragon costume for the Fire Island parade!

• The outfit Stacey was first introduced in: a pink sweater with a parrot printed on the front, jeans with a silver zipper on the side, and pink, plastic shoes.
• The outfit Stacey wore when she was babysitting David Michael in Kristy's Great Idea. You know, the shirt with big yellow number 10s with the skirt made of sweatshirt material.
• The outfit Stacey wore on the original cover of Kristy's Great Idea.
• The outfit Stacey wore in Claudia and Mean Janine to the play group: the shirt with a taxi cab on it and green shorts.
• The outfit Stacey wore on the cover of Welcome Back, Stacey.
I like Stacey's outfits better in the earlier books than in the later books. I love the 80s clothing.
