Voted for CA. I lived in southern CA for 15 years, and got quite enough of it.

This thread makes me realize that I don't know where most of you are from. Plus, I thought that Sparklymouse was from Nova Scotia and was shocked that she hadn't seen an ocean! I must have been mistaking her for somebody else here whose name I can't currently remember.
As for the poll question, I wouldn't mind any of them. However, I don't think I've read about Reese. What's it like? I think it might be a skiing resort and, if so, I think that's my choice. I don't like skiing.
ETA: I just checked. It was Wanderingfrog I was thinking of. The animals threw me off.

Fairy3lf2, Reese is a resort town, where the population goes up in the summer.

fairy, Reese is a seaside town in Maine. I always thought it sounded awesome. P.S. Check out the map yourself thread in Meeting Adjourned for some of our locations

if it helps explain things, my surprise that kylie has never seen snow came at the end of a winter where i personally saw about 30 inches of snow. these last few months snow has been something i am tired of, nothing novel or exciting.

I guess I don't want to "go to LA" either since I live here. It always amuses me whenever a business, especially one that is local (I think Old Navy once had one such contest) that offers a free trip to LA or Hollywood. Yay, what a prize! I always wonder if I "won" could I either sell it or get the cash value. BooBoo, I thought Reese sounded like fun, too.

Agree about the LA "prize" thing....thanks but no thanks. So um, when did the BSC go to Reese? I totally don't remember that...

I voted for Camp Mohawk because I never in my life had a desire to go to Summer Camp. All of the other places sounded interesting to me because my husband and I have a desire to travel all over.

I picked camp. I was not into camping. I only been to camp like 3 times out of my life. Doesn't excited me.

Disney world b/c I work there and go there every day! Lucky!! I would pick one of the road trip destinations, Iowa (even though the bsc didn't actually go) or Oklahoma, because I thought those were two of the most boring places on the trip itinerary.

I never in my life had a desire to go to Summer Camp. Same here! My experience probably would have been like Mary Anne's since I was/am shy like her.
