Kristy and the Baby Parade:
1. That Kristy made such a commotion over Jenny not being "allowed" to participate because she was "too" old. Jenny could have been one of "Old Mother Hubbard's" daughters. Surely there was some way for her to join in.
2. The fight over colors.
3. How incredibly boring this book was.

Mary Anne Misses Logan:
1. Cokie. I can't stand her.
2. The fact that Mary Anne barely had any time by herself before getting back together with Logan. I would have liked there to be at least ONE MA-narrated book after #41 with her still single.
3. The fact that the cover illustration (them rollerskating and having a blast) never happened in this book.

Mallory on Strike
1. The Pike parents were horrible. Instead of making Mallory do everything, they could've had someone else help out. 2. Mallory not talking to her parents earlier about being left alone. 3. Kristy not asking Mallory why she was late to the meeting.

Jessi's Wish
1. The random-ness (eye-rolling perfect timing) of Jessi's job at SES in terms of the BSC.
2. I felt badly for Danielle, but admit to having never bonded with her.
3. I would have liked reading about Mary Anne's "job" with Frankie.

Claudia and the Genius of Elm Street:
1. Rosie's parents essentially ignoring Rosie in favor of marketing her talents.
2. Rosie herself wasn't exactly interesting to read about--to me anyway.
3. Claudia's parents still not getting the junk food hint at her art show.

Dawn's Big Date
1. Dawn changing herself for Lewis. 2. How the Hills treated Norman. 3. Lewis being 5'10. That seems tall for a 13 year old.
Next book: Stacey's Ex-Best Friend

Stacey's Ex-Best Friend:
1. King, Laine's "boyfriend," sounded like an abuser waiting to strike.
2. Cowgirl? Cowwoman boots? (Stacey wondered if she should call them that).
3. The way Laine treated Pete and the fact that we never got to read about Stacey's conversation with him at the very end.

Mary Anne + 2 Many Babies:
1. The way Logan and Mary Anne acted like some old married couple with their egg baby. I guess they acted like an old married couple all the time, but the way they (and the others) took the egg thing so seriously wasn't realistic.
2. Ricky and Rose looked really weird on the cover.
3. I didn't like Logan in this book. He was kind of a jerk, IMO.

Kristy for President:
1. Only book we see how stressed Kristy is... But after that not a peep is heard. 2. Stacey complaining about the musical is Mary Poppins... But it's your favorite movie! 3. In the end, Kristy gracefully steps out. No.

Otempora541, it's so nice to see someone new contributing to this thread. Welcome. Mallory and the Dream Horse: 1. The way Jessi treated Mal. 2. The way "Ann" (as usual) treated Mal. 3. The Blankie subplot got old. Next: Jessi's Gold Medal

Jessi's Gold Medal
1. Kristy winning. It would've been interesting see what would've happened if Alan won. 2. The title. It spoiled any surprise about Jessi winning. 3. Not finding out whether Kristy or Alan won the second race.

Keep Out, Claudia:
1. Mrs. Lowell in general. What an awful character.
2. The fact that the Lowell kids had to grow up with Mrs. Lowell as their mother.
3. Jessi's experience at the Lowell house.

Dawn Saves the Planet
1. Dawn being obnoxious. 2. Dawn not getting credit for her work at the ceremony at the recycling center. 3. Dawn and Stacey each writing 30 pages for their report. You would think they wouldn't use so much paper.

Stacey's Choice:
1. The lack of communication between Stacey and her parents.
2. The weirdness and randomness of the entire situation.
3. That Stacey didn't let herself celebrate with her Dad. The Maureen plot WAS the book.

Mallory Hates Boys (and Gym):
1. Mallory's a complete whine-bag in this book.
2. That the teacher didn't try to help Mallory out sooner.
3. Mallory's theory about all boys being jerks (although I guess that is probably age appropriate).
