Morbid subject, I know ;D
Anyway....I was thinking that Karen’s Black Cat was the one where Boo Boo died but I read it and it is just the one where he is not doing well and they get Pumpkin. I have to admit I was kind of disappointed ;D (Not because I wanted Boo Boo to die or anything but just because I was expecting this to be the one with the cat funeral and everything). Anyway I really liked Black Cat and thought it was so nice how Watson picked the name Pumpkin that Karen had mentioned because he couldn’t get it out of his mind. I also found it really touching when he and Karen were sitting together petting Boo Boo.
Just as I was starting to wonder which book Boo Boo dies in, I found out as I randomly picked Karen’s Movie Star (which is also the next number but I didn’t realize that ;D) to read this morning. Poor Boo Boo. I liked it how he was on video looking out the window one last time – but that was sad, even though I usually am not too affected by dog and cat deaths (have gotten used to it with outdoor animals). This one did have me crying a little, though. For some reason, I have a soft spot for Boo Boo. It was so sweet how he had been sleeping with Karen.
Was also glad to see the two families eating Thanksgiving dinner together, which I also learned was the real reason for Lisa and Seth coming to the cat funeral ;D Now if they only could have done that in Karen’s Birthday…. But at least they worked things out. I also thought it was really touching how Seth made the cross and helped bury Boo Boo, then Watson thanked him. I thought they were both really good about handling the whole possible awkward situation. Great for Karen and Andrew.
I really liked Karen’s Black Cat and Pumpkin sounds so cute. Wish Boo Boo wouldn’t have died but still liked Karen’s Movie Star too.
