I seem to remember seeing an ad with an Abby doll, but maybe I'm imagining it. Anyways, she's actually really cute! Too bad they didn't produce her. I've always loved that outfit of hers.

I find that outfit interesting, because they really seemed to want to give Abby a trait with it--maturity--that they seemed to abandon later in favor of a wardrobe of umbros.

I wonder how hard it would be to create an Abby doll. I finally got Jessi (the last one I needed!) and she came with a naked Kristy with matted hair. I know how to restore AG dolls, so I feel like a BSC doll shouldn't be that different... maybe I could wash and curl Kristy's hair and get her an Abby-like outfit? Hmmm.
That being said, what's with the alternate/new clothes the other dolls are wearing in that ad? Were those ever produced? Because they're kind of awesome.

^Hey that's so cool! I love the AG dolls. Mine has a loose arm and I think to fix it they'd have to restitch her whole body Your plans for the Abby doll sound neat valuemeal, I hope it turns out!
