Those of you on facebook would have heard of the 30 day challenges, which is basically when there's a topic like horror movies, and each day for 30 days you post a picture related to subject that fits a certain criteria for example favourite horror movie. I've decided to come up with one for the BSC series but I need help because I'm kind of not really a Kristy when it comes to ideas. These are the ones I've got so far and sorry if this is the wrong section, I'm still finding my way around: D1 Favourite sitter D2 Least favourite sitter D3 Favourite regular book D4 Least favourite regular book D5 Favourite mystery D6 Least favourite mystery D7 Favourite super special D8 Least favourite super special D9 Favourite minor character D10 Least favourite minor character D11 Favourite sitting charge D12 Least favourite sitting charge D13 Favourite parent D14 Least favourite parent D15 Favourite BSC fight D16 Favourite BSC love interest (thanks Greer ) D17 Favourite BSC organised event (thanks Greer ) D18 Favourite vacation spot (thanks Greer ) D19 Favourite Holiday Book (thanks Sarish ) D20 Favourite couple in the book (thanks Sarish ) D21 Favourite couple not in the book (as in who you wanted to get together but didn't) (thanks Sarish ) D22 BSC member or minor character you could see yourself being friends with D23 Favourite Friends Forever (thanks Sarish ) D24 Least Favourite Friends Forever (thanks Sarish ) D25 Moments/Scene from the books that sticks out to you the most (thanks Sarish ) D26 Favourite Claudia outfit (thanks Sarish ) D27 Favorite Stacey outfit (thanks Sarish ) D28 One thing you learned from the BSC (thanks Sarish ) D29 Favourite BSC 'villain' (thanks Sarish ) D30 Biggest 'that wouldn't really happen in real life' moment (thanks Sarish )

You can start whenever you'd like to and if you miss a day just catch up on it the next day To avoid 30 posts for each person please edit your original post each day witht he new condition, but if you want to post seperately that's fine too

^Sounds fun. is there a way to participate without pictures/Facebook? I don't have FB. Also are their pictures of each of the charges? (probably most of them, huh). I could say a cover or page #.

The Baby-Sitters Club 30 Days Challenge:
Day 1: Favorite Sitter:
Mary Anne Spier, she's the one that I can relate the most to and she's also my favorite because I love how Ann and the other authors described her in the books.

The Baby-Sitters Club 30 Day Challenge: Day 1: Favorite Sitter - Mary Anne Spier...for some reason she has been my favorite since the very beginning, probably because I was always the child who loved sob stories and hers seemed the worse. I identified with her because I felt that I was pretty shy when it came to new people, and I had the brown hair and brown eyes described. In the earlier books when she was really overly kind and cried at the drop of a hat (before it became cartoonish), I also felt I was similar. However, Claudia has always been a close second favorite for me, because I loved her personality and I remember making a corner of my room into an 'art studio' for my love of Claudia and trying to dress like her. Day 2: Least Favorite Sitter - Dawn Schafer. When she first came into the picture I really liked her, but once she went back and forth for the millionth time and finally moved to CA after getting so mad at her brother for leaving their mother, I stopped liking her very much. She was anything but original and...she frustrated me. Day 3: Favorite Book from Regular Series - Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls hands down. I love that book. I love Claudia in that book. I love all the girls. I love the prank. I love Alan Gray. Day 4: Least Favorite Book from Regular Series - Kristy's Worst Idea - hated it. Thought it was a very pointless book that really didn't further any plot lines. Plus everyone seemed so out of character. Day 5: Favorite Mystery - I actually really love the mysteries...and there are a few that stand out for me. Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade - I love the plot and it feels creepy and it introduced us to Cary Retlin. Mary Anne and the Silent Witness - I love the MA and Cary interaction! Kristy and the Cat Burglar - I love that Cary is such a big part of it - and the MA and Cary moment at the end! "You're bleeding..." touches forehead gently.... "Am I? It doesn't hurt." OMGoodness - CUTE! Day 6: Least Favorite Mystery - I strained and strained and thought and thought and could not think of a single one I've read that I really did not like in some way. So, I can't answer this. I really liked the mystery ones. A lot. Day 7: Favorite Super Special Snowbound. I absolutely love this book. It seems one of the more realistic plots to me...and I love where each character gets stuck. I love seeing the closeness of Claudia and her mom and Kristy getting all girly...I loved the Pikes. And I have always wished to live where it snows...so I loved when I could read of snow.

The Baby-Sitters Club 30 Day Challenge:
D1 Favorite sitter -
Mallory because of her interest in writing and drawing. I also like to write so it helps having that in common with Mallory. (Mary Anne and Abby arer also my favorite characters but one of the reasons I'm went with Mallory because you're supposed to give only one)

The Baby-Sitters Club 30 Day Challenge:
Day 1: Favorite Sitter -
Kristy Thomas. Underneath her often brash and loud exterior, (I think) lies a great heart. I have always believed (possibly because of her childhood) that Kristy truly sees the BSC and their charges as the family that she (K) chose and therefore all of them have a deep place in her heart. I am also a dog and baseball fan and I think it would have been dibbly fresh being apart of a BSC group and helping K to coach the Krushers.

I'll do my challenge here so that the OP is still readable 30 Day Baby-Sitters Club Challenge Day 1: Favourite Sitter- Jessi Ramsey. This is strange because we are quite dissimilar but she always struck as a genuinely nice person who cared a lot about a lot of people. She also struck me as highly responsible, with her commitments to dancing and the BSC. Day 2: Least Favourite Sitter- Dawn Schaffer. In the earlier books I really enjoyed her but by the end her excessive environmentalism and hypocrisy started to grate on my nerves. Day 3: Favourite Regular Book- Mary Anne Saves the Day. I've loved this one since I was little, as I feel it has the right mix of BSC plotlines, family, school or friends plotlines and Babysitting, something I think at least the first six books have too. Day 4: Least Favourite Regular Book- Kristy and the Copycat. I just really didn't like this one, I'm never really a fan of the softball plots apart from some Krusher ones, and the ending, while realistic, just felt unresolved to me. Day 5: Favourite Mystery- Claudia and the Recipe for Danger. Just a really fun mystery, good to read with a logical conclusion and not too unrealitstic as far as mysteries go. Day 6: Least Favourite Mystery- Stacey and the Mystery Money. I just find this book really dull, and it doesn't have the entertainment value to make up for its far-fetchedness Day 7: Favourite Super Special- Baby-sitters Island Adventure. I just love this book, it's ridiculous and unrealistic but at the same time it's so fun to read it doesn't matter Day 8: Least Favourite Super Special- Baby-Sitters Winter Vacation. As much as I love parts of this book, the Mary Anne chapters are borderline unreadable. Day 9: Favourite Minor Character- Cary Retlin. Cary is so wonderful and fun to read about. I love that he isn't afraid of Kristy and that he left such a big impression even though he came into the books so late. "Complications make life interesting" Day 10: Least Favourite Minor Character- Laine Cummings. Look, I get the whole feeling of being too smart/mature for everyone else in your age group or year level at school, but at the same time being that way or feeling that way doesn't give you license to be ridiculously nasty to everybody else.

Day 2: Least Favorite Sitter:
Logan Bruno, This was so hard for me to chose! Since I love and like all of them equally the same, but I chose Logan. I really hate the way he treated Mary Anne in most of the books.
