^ Yeah, Claudia thinks that wearing a punk costume to a Halloween party for little kids is inappropriate, so she goes as a scarecrow. I love that Cokie goes as Barbie! ;D And word about the Fright Night costumes being really lame. I can't picture cool, sophisticated Stacey dressing up as Mother Time. I thought that Sherlock Bones was kind of dorky, but I can see Kristy pulling it off. It wasn't a Halloween costume, but I loved when two of the triplets dressed up like a horse for the pet show!

^ I had forgotten about Cokie as Barbie. That was a good one. Just read Haunted Masquerade and loved the Addams family Stacey and Robert and also Grace as Snow White. Also liked the Wizard of Oz characters from Karen's Ghost.

Haha there was also an 80s referance where the kids were obsessed with Ghostbusters and they all went as a Ghostbuster for Halloween. I bet if the books had been made now, the kids may have gone as Shrek or Harry Potter characters ;D Aw just thinking of someone like Jamie Newton dressed as HP, that would be so cute!

Also, Claudia has a great punk costume planned, but if I remember correctly she never does wear it.. I liked that idea, and it was funny how everyone was in shock when she wore the (fake) nose ring to a meeting. I also liked Stacey's flapper costume.

^ I liked Stacey's flapper costume too. Was looking through costume patterns today and all of the awesome things that can be made reminded me of this thread. ;D Of course, I'm not sure who would sew the outfits. Do any of the girls sew?

^ Mary Anne is supposed to be good at stuff like that in some books and not so good in others, and Stacey did needlepoint in #8. Oh, and Mallory worked on costumes in SS #9, and made the Baby Parade costumes, so I guess she'd be the sewer ("as in person who sews, not smelly underground tunnel" )

^ I had forgotten about the Baby Parade costumes. ;D I wonder if Dawn would also insult Mallory's work on Halloween costumes.... ;D

In one of Karen's Halloween books she does Pippi Longstocking, but I never could figure out why they didn't put wire in her braids. That's the time-honored way to do that!

I thought the lobster costumes sounded brilliant, it made me think of a full house episode about jesse and becky joining a group about twins who can't seperate or something like that, I'm so sure something was mentioned about lobster suits
I also liked karen's pippi costume, leslie or jannie's punk costume with the blue hair (karen's ghost), mary anne and logan's cat costumes with the "nice bad luck charm"

The Fright Night costumes were kind of lame, but #101 Claudia Kishi, Middle School Drop-out has some great costumes. Mary Anne is Little Red Riding Hood, Cokie is Barbie and Alan Gray is the Mask. Best of all is Claire and Margo fighting over who gets to be Pocahantus. Also, Claudia has a great punk costume planned, but if I remember correctly she never does wear it.. And also doesn't Mal go as Emily Dickinson? She powders her hair white, wears a long black skirt, and carries a quill pen. I actually think that's kind of a cute idea.

Unfortunately for Mal that's the sort of thing that makes people say "Now who are you supposed to be?"

I loved Karen's Pippi costume, and Mary Anne's cat costume
I thought Kristy and Bart dressed as lobsters was the weirdest...I like people who have guts to do something like that, but it sounded like they did a terrible job with their makeup and getup
