It seems like the previous thread for this book has disappeared. A few points:
I would like to visit some of the places they visited, like the Four Corners.
The fight between Claudia and Stacey was stupid and I could've done without it.
Also, when Watson was visiting his college friends in Lester, Oklahoma, I also didn't like that Mr. Romney opened the windows when the tornado was coming. It could've gotten him killed in the process. Having windows open or closed doesn't help a house remain intact or destroyed when there's a tornado.
Kristy is supposed to be left-handed but on page 23, she is writing with her right.

Do we need to contact proboards about disappearing threads? I want to know why it keeps happening.

^I wish this particular thread could be found since I still would like to read it, the 4 corners part and especially Chincoteague Island. What other threads have vanished Sparklymouse? I do think one of the LS book thread, a holiday one when you click onto it, it opens up into a different title. I have been meaning to point that out. I'll have to try and find it. ETA: I found it. When I click onto "Karen's Bunny," that thread opens up into "Karen's Reindeer." Reindeer also open to reindeer. It would be funny if they had switched.

^ Karen's Hurricane has disappeared before you made a new thread for it.

Maybe it's in Yesterday's News?

Anzuhana, I had forgotten about Hurricane. Amalia, there is a "new" (now 7 years old) BSC USA thread in Yesterday's News--good call. I actually found that a while back when I first was looking for the original thread. babysittersclub.proboards.com/thread/3616/bsc-usa Greer was even kind enough to post a link to the original thread (this was 5 years ago)If you click on that link now, this error message comes up: This forum's URL has changed. Please update your bookmarks to babysittersclub.proboards.com So what may have happened to the original thread is even more of a BSC Mystery! ETA for clarification and so not to start a new post just for this, the original multiple page thread has vanished. The one I found which I think was on page 16 or 17 of yesterday's news was just an updated version of the lost (and still missing) original. Sorry for any confusion!

I looked through Yesterday's News and the BSC in the USA with multiple pages isn't there.

Ooh this was my favourite Super Special! I'm not American so I loved the idea of going to all these places I've heard of (and some never heard of) but never seen! Jessi's trip to her family's past was very heavy for little me to read. Also I remember the discussion about Mary Anne's knitting needles driving everyone insane. Am I remembering correctly? Lol
Was this the one with Claudia finding the Georgia o'Keefe sketch?

Mercury, it was this book where Claudia found the Georgia O'Keefe sketch. Claudia was annoyed by Mary Anne's knitting. It seemed like Dawn and Jeff were, too.

I think I mentioned it to Kylie a while ago...she's the only one who can move threads.

^Thanks, Boo Boo. I did find a thread for Karen's Bunny, thanks to Afton. She had started the thread originally. Here it is: babysittersclub.proboards.com/thread/673/karens-bunny I found this by going through the threads started by Afton NOT by clicking onto Karen's Bunny for the linked list of LS books--that is the way that brings up Karen's Reindeer.

Sorry for the double post. I just finished reading and still cheer for the ponies with Mal. That's my favorite part of the book and reminds me of Karen's Unicorn. I also can't imagine how awkward it must have been for Richard especially and MA, too, to have Jack in their house for breakfast. It might have been different had they at least met once before or if the divorce were more amicable. One thing that was funny and in this book Jack's humor isn't humorous at all, was when he said the best way to find a ghost town (for Dawn) was to look for a ghost and follow it. I loved how Watson told Karen that visiting the four corners was special to him too despite the drive. He can be a great dad sometimes. I could have done without the Claudia and Stacey fighting and honestly Ethan, too. When I was younger I thought it would be cool to visit each ballpark with my Grandpa so I can understand why Kristy wanted to also. I do also just like the idea of a cross country trip. I still hope one day the original thread to this super special will resurface.

Wow, did the entire BSC in the USA thread seriously disappear???
The Patrick Thomas thread inspired me to look for this thread. Patrick is with his girlfriend in this book, but he doesn't give her name. I wonder if this was the first appearance of Zoe, or was it another girlfriend? Interesting since Kristy wonders if she might be a nutritionist, and Zoe DID end up being the owner of a healthy restaurant.
