I know, and a book dedicated to Claudia's artwork, full of fan submissions of how they imagined her pieces based on descriptions, and a few pages on instructions for making certain jewelry or pieces. But Ann hates to cook! I think we would have to re-read every book to figure out everything that was cooked and figure out what stands out the most. I also agree the tacos sounded good, but that there was tons of restaurant prepared food that was just as good

I think Kids Kitchen would be a nice name for the cookbook site, taken from Recipe for Danger, or All Time Cookbook inspired by Dawn's book

I think Kids Kitchen would be a nice name for the cookbook site, taken from Recipe for Danger, or All Time Cookbook inspired by Dawn's book I think I just want to keep it just Baby-Sitters Club Cookbook for now so there won't be any confusion. Like, people won't come there looking for kids' recipes and just finding BSC-related things.

Nah. We fans can do it better (though I confess, I haven't read enough BSC to actually remember anything but pizza and s'mores (sp?) offhand.
I LOVE this idea, mallorypike (and greer).

Oh how could I ever forget...the gourmet dinner Claudia and Peaches prepared in Claudia and Crazy Peaches. The ingredients should be there in the grocery shopping part of the book and when cooking and preparing the meal. Adding instructions on making fancy meal cards with names for each person's place at the table with calligraphy would also be a nice touch If there are other recipes in Recipe For Danger for cakes, cupcakes, etc. we can include that Butternut squash and cranberry relish to eat with wild rice like in Karen's Surprise Baked apples, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie Maple leaf shaped cookies recipe entitled Autumn Leaf Party, as they had in Ms. Colman's class in Karen's Toothache I know I already mentioned pizzas with English muffins, but they can be fraction style as well with a theme and some ideas can be listed Druscilla's Halloween cupcakes Hot chocolate Nannie's perfect brownies Oat cookies shaped like goats (Elvira style oats) Blackberry jam like Verna was trying to teach Mary Anne, and eating it with crackers and tea, essential for a small tea party Valentine's dinner like Logan prepared-lasagna, salad, chocolate cake, chocolate candy cookies like the ones nancy and hannie made in Karen's Yoyo along with the bookmarks, maybe include instructions for making both for a good day of eating cookies and reading?

Stacey's Ex-Boyfriend mentions like a dozen different desserts or foods made using strawberries (and they even gather together the recipes for them).

Brownies, because making them recently reminded me of Stacey's Emergency. Dawn might not approve, though. There'd have to be some quiches or something for her.

I was flipping through an American Girl cookbook I found at a used book sale a while ago (Samantha's, if you're curious) that I think I'm going to soon start cooking from, and I was thinking it really WOULD have been believable if Scholastic had published a BSC cookbook. It would have fit in with the other BSC books they published, like the Notebook and the Guide to Baby-sitting. I think it would have been an easy sell for them!

Especially if it was geared towards recipes that you can make while babysitting.

They did post easy recipes you could make while baby-sitting in the fan club newsletter occasionally.
