Speaking of Half Birthdays. Today is my half Birthday. So, on facebook. I change my profile picture and timeline cover. Only one person, wish me half Birthday. (My Aunt.)Boo & Bullfrogs. On my twitter account. I change my avatar and background. No one wish me a half Birthday, on twitter. (No one really tweets me on there.) I change on here. So, this got me thinking. Do you celebrate your half Birthday like Karen Brewer or don't care about it. I even search half birthday, on goggle. I see lot of Half Birthday cakes. Here's an example of one. Half Birthday Cake I guess some people celebrate their half Birthdays and others don't really care about it. Your thoughts on this?

Happy half birthday, Buttercup! When I was in elementary school, I did celebrate half birthdays. My parents never bothered to throw a half birthday party for me or even bake a half birthday cake. They thought it was a waste of time and money. Boo and bull frogs. So, I would always throw my own party. Back then, I didn't have much friends. I mean, I did have a couple of "friends" but no good friends. My party guests would be my stuffed animals and my little sister. There were no presents but I ate store-bought cookies and drank tea as a replacement for cake and ice cream. ;D

I never celebrated my half birthday, either. On a side note, that is one delicious looking cake.

That's cool, you throw your own half Birthday, when you were younger. Eat store bought cookies and drank tea, instead of cake and ice cream. I like cake and ice cream, better. Anz, sure does. Whoever made the half cake. Did good job of decorating it. Wonder, if it was any good.

^ I'd imagine that it does taste good because I prefer to think of it being chocolate on the inside.

You're welcome, buttercup. And, I like cake and ice cream better, too! It was just that store-bought cookies were the only "sweet" food my parents bought (they only bought cake and ice cream on special occasions).

I love the blue roses on your icon, Buttercup. I never officially celebrated my half birthday in terms of a party but as I recently posted in the Karen's Half Birthday thread, think doing so could have been a lot of fun. Last year my half birthday was brightened gigundoly thanks to the surprise of some family and friends remembering it. Oh and ITA that cake and especially, always ice cream, are just dibbly fresh. I do have the memory of as a kid being asked what type of ice cream cake I wanted and my reply was all ice cream (in cake form) without the cake. I guess even then my sweet tooth loved ice cream!

^ Thanks Zoar. It was from Caption it. Word Art. Theirs a cake. Just write something on the cake. Pick your color, that they have. Just click on the create button. They do the rest. It's really fun site, to make stuff.

When I was in elementary school I celebrated my half birthday because I have a Summer birthday, so I would always bring in my birthday treats on my half birthday instead.

When I was in elementary school I celebrated my half birthday because I have a Summer birthday, so I would always bring in my birthday treats on my half birthday instead. That's good idea. I never thought of doing that, when I was in school. My Birthday is in the summer time. So, I couldn't do celebrate my Birthday, at school. Never thought about celebrating my half Birthday, at school years.

My birthday is September 22nd, which I'm also sure is Mary Anne's birthday! Which would mean that my half birthday would be on March 22nd. Anyways, I never experienced a half birthday, but I always had the pleasure of being the first or one of the first kids in the classroom to celebrate their birthday.

My half birthday would be in February. I wanted to bring cupcakes to my class a few times since my birthday is before school starts but never did.
