I'm just curious as to what BSC books (can be any book in the entire franchise) remind you of April (and maybe the reason why)?

Stacey's Big Crush. It has a lot to do with spring, and a lot of description of spring scents. Lilacs always remind me of this book.

Karen's big job, I think is the title of the one I'm thinking about. Someone's birthday is near the end and the lilacs are in bloom which makes me think of April.

I think of Mind Your Own Business, Kristy right off the bat for some reason. I also think of Karen's Big Joke and Karen's Ducklings. I don't know if Karen's Ducklings was set in March or April but the spring vibe makes me think of April.

MYOB makes me think of summer rather than spring, even though I know it's a spring book.

I thought of Dawn Saves the Planet today, it being Earth Day.

Earth Day is a good time to read that book. I don't particularly like Dawn in it but I did always like the "school" feel of it. (Nerd)

Dawn is so annoying that it's hard for me to read that one. But I like the description of their thick bound reports.

If you're on this board, you're at least a little bit of a nerd

The first answer to this post's question when I first saw it was "April Frenning." She is Sandy (a boy) Frenning's mother. April is the manager of Toy Town where Stacey works in Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall. Didn't MA in her portrait story "E is for Eyeglasses" have a friend named April, too?
Karen shares with us the variations of flowers that are blooming in both her yards in Karen's Ducklings. I always admire her for knowing all their names. I would not (and probably still would not) be able to name them as easily as she did.
Dawn Saves the Planet is not a favorite of mine at all. I recently told a friend that if my child had been enrolled in "Green School" and it was run as we read in the book, he/she would have been pulled from the class unless Dawn changed her unkind preaching ways! I also will never understand why it was necessary for both Dawn and Stacey to hand in identical reports! Even if they each added a page of individual thoughts, that is a waste of paper and ink, IMO!
