I might be willing to give it a shot. I never wrote fanfic before, but I do like to write.

It would have been nice to see a super special where they visit the solar system. I can see Abby playing the song I'm Your Venus when they visit Venus.

I would be! I've said this before, but I'd love to read a better written (longer) take on Island Adventure. I don't like to wish harm to even fictional characters but thought it wrapped up to easily and within 3 days. Even if they were stranded one more night could have added dimension to the story. I'd also be up for changing the cast of characters or adding to it...Of course, this could also be a separate story if anyone would be interested. We could even write chapters from the Charges/Parents p.o.v's. The Newtons' especially must have been beside themselves. I also wonder if the Stoneybrook Community Center felt any responsibility for not better equipping those boats (two ways, walkie talkies, anything..even if they didn't work after a while at least they would have started off as being there)Lol, with all the father lawyers... Let's see the Dad's directly involved were: Mr. Spier (Dawn and Jeff) Mr. Schafer (Dawn and Jeff) Mr. Kishi (Claudia) Mr. Newton (Jamie) Mr. Braddock (Haley) Mr. Ramsey (Becca) Was Mr. Ramsey a lawyer? I don't think we were ever told what the other Dad's did with the exception of course, of Richard? For a totally new Super Special, I'd be up for either one taking place in Stoneybrook or outside. I know a lot fo the draw of the SS's was location but I really loved IA, Snowbound, and even the parts of SM #4 that took place in good old Stoneybrook.

^Zoar3, all my favorites were the Stoneybrook located ones. I know some people didn't think the Peter Pan play was Super Special worthy, but that and Snowbound were more interesting to me than the ten vacations they went on. Stoneybrook could be a very dramatic place to live sometimes.

Sparklymouse, the Stoneybrook ones were more endearing to me, possibly because obviously that was the home of the BSC but also because it allowed us a longer glimpse into daily life at home. It was more "real." That said, I was not a big fan of the Peter Pan one, I have to admit. I talked with Kylie last night and she seemed up for re-writing I.A. Want to join, Sparklmouse and of course anyone else? I think we could either completely re-write it or add in details...so many fun possibilities. I just created a thread for a possible re-write: babysittersclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=writings&action=display&thread=3918Everyone welcome and in any capacity. (Writer, ideas, help with brainstorming, etc. I've never participated in a group fan fic before. I truly do think doing so will be a lot of fun). Thanks, Mona

I would also like a super special in which they visited haunted or creepy places such as Gettysburg or the Lizzie Borden bed and breakfast.

That would make for a Super Mystery, don't you think?

It could make for a Super Mystyer if they saw ghosts there or something paranormal happened while they were there.

Gettysburg is the most obvious BSC choice.

Haha, Lizzie Borden seems a bit too graphic for a BSC book...

I guess so. After all, her parents were killed by someone with an ax.

I think I would like it if the BSC went to a national park. I know they visited the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton in BSC in the USA, but I would like it if every member talked about their experience in a national park.
