You know, I watched Most Terrifying Places in America and one of the places was the Stanley Hotel where Stephen King stayed and got the inspiration for The Shining. Dawn said she saw the movie, so I think she and the rest of the BSC should go the Stanley Hotel, which is supposedly one of the most haunted hotels in the U.S.A.

Like a creepier version of Winter Vacation. I don't know if that would be fun/interesting for anyone other than Dawn, lol.

I'd like BSC in Dunn's River.

Probably stating the obvious here but i would have loved to see the babysitters travel to Australia, it would be fun to read about them visiting places from home, Sydney would definitely have to be on the list! :-)

What about a book where Claudia is found to have a learning disability? We could then see what everyone thinks about it.

^ I don't think that would make a very entertaining Super Special. Plus, Claudia mentions in one book that she actually HAD been tested for learning disabilities, but it turned out that she just doesn't try hard enough in school.

Yeah it sounds more suited to a regular book than an SS.

This is kind of a stretch but I would've liked to read about Kristy's trip to Hawaii. Maybe in addition to Kristy's chapters in Hawaii, there could've been chapters about the rest of the BSC and what they were doing in Stoneybrook or chapters where they remembered things that they did in Hawaii that weren't mentioned in the super special (with the exception of Mallory. Maybe we could read about some extra sitting jobs that she had or something else).

I don't know if this was mentioned but I would of liked if everyone in the BSC went to Europe rather than the select few. I would also like the BSC to go to Australia and New Zealand.

If they went on the trip, maybe Kristy could meet up with Michel.
I agree with everyone about the BSC visiting Australia. New Zealand sounds good, too.

Starting high school would make for a good ss.

Starting high school would make for a good ss. I like that idea! The beginning of a new school year was always something I liked reading about.

For some reason, I'm indfferent to a ss about the girls starting high school.

I just re-read through this thread and especially now that I have become an LS fan, to me the BSC girls will always be 13 and in 8th grade. I'm still not a BSC Friends Forever even much if last few regular series book fan. I love and hold dear the "olden" days of Stoneybrook that were much more kid and family centered than on crazy mysteries. I still would have loved at least one more Stoneybrook only Super Special. I really do think the final BSC book instead of it being about a horrible fire should have been the contest Kristy was entering about the BSC being the best sitters. Memories of the BSC from the BSC and also (because there'd be space in the book) charges and families. I think it might have been what I had hoped Island Adventure would have been...much more all Stoneybrook inclusive.
