How do people in other countries celebrate Easter? How much time do you get off? We get off Good Friday through til Easter Monday (four day weekend!) and most people celebrate on Easter Sunday (although I'm sure the Christians do stuff on Good Friday). We do an egg hunt with chocolate eggs inside

Well, I have a service job so I'll be at work making sure other people are enjoying their holiday. I think a lot of places work a half day on Good Friday and go back to work like normal on Monday.
I don't do much except buy yummy candy, haha. My mom usually makes a ham. I used to love getting an Easter basket in the morning.

I love Easter! I have Friday off (Good Friday) then the weekend and I always have Mondays off anyways (no work, no classes). On Friday and Saturday, I'm just going to see my dad and his family and we'll have a big lunch plus an Easter egg hunt (there are a lot of young kids in his family so we still do the kiddie stuff). On Sunday on actual Easter I'm going to Chattanooga with my mom and her family and we'll be having a picnic at a state park by the lake like we do every Easter.

I also just realized this year how much I love Easter! Maybe because it's finally spring, and this winter feels like it has been the longest. one. ever. Here most people get either a three or four day weekend as well. The weather is beautiful, finally sunny and sometimes even more than 10 degrees C! 😂 My husband and I aren't really celebrating, just using the time off to try to pack up the house for our move (about 2,000km westward) which is in a little over a week - agh! Tomorrow we'll go to his folks' house for an Easter dinner. Picnic in Chatanooga sure sounds nice I gotta say!!

Unfortunately, my Easter plans were cancelled. That's because I somehow randomly caught a stomach virus and I've been constipated (sorry I know it's gross and probably TMI lol). But I hope everyone had a great Easter!

But I hope everyone had a great Easter! Bummer! Although, also TMI I'd think you'd have diarrhea instead of the other. Lol. I've had a cold for a week. Saturday I felt like a mole because of sneezing so much. Not that they sneeze a lot, haha.
